WOW! Everything about this place is just perfect! The sushi was original and beatifully plated. Seriously - it looked like something on a cooking show and tasted just as wonderful. The chef has something called black pepper tuna that just melts in your mouth.The flavors are wonderfully balanced and no one flavor overpowers the other. I didnt even want wasabi or shaved ginger on it; it would have ruined the flavors. The waitress was great! I had never been to the area before and she was more than helpful. She took the time to really talk to me and listened. She actually took the time to write down a place to search for in my gps on the back of one of the menus. If I ever come back this way or know of someone who is coming to the area, I will give this place the highest recomendation.

I used to go here all the time, but then, when sushi places became the "in thing" they had a lot of competition. I will say that over the last few years I havent been back. Not because of a bad experience or ever a bad taste. There were too many options and experiences to taste and visit. Well, last night I went back with friends and family and I questioned myself the entire time why I let my allegiance to them sway. The food, the prices, the atmosphere. Its all top notch. Dont hesitate if youre considering.

This is some of the best sushi I have ever had on Long Island. Fish is very fresh and they have some unique creations on the menu I havent seen anywhere else. Its a very low-key atmosphere though and dont have to wait for a table like another good sushi spot in town which gets very crowded. Ichiro is more of a friendly local place and you feel that as soon as you walk in, you just feel like your business is appreciated. This is our new favorite local sushi spot.

Its in a very small shopping center and I must have driven past this sushi spot for a full year before I realized it was there. It took a friend (who had eater there before) pointing it out to me for me to try it and I was glad he did because they have high quality fresh sushi. I have eaten there about 4 times now in total and havent been disappointing once. Friendly staff, decent prices, and good food.

The sushi tasted old. 1 roll I had tasted stale. Service was great because we were the only ones there on Valentines Day. But definitely did not get the quality sushi we were looking for. Dont waste your money here. Ive never thought sushi was gross the next day. One roll felt fuzzy and had to be tossed. Clearly got the sushi that should have been thrown out.

Sushi is amazing and the prices are incredibly low for the quality. Some of the best sushi ive had. Lunch special is amazing too, a lot of food for 10$. Only downside, no free refills on soda. Free Green tea and refills tho!

So good! My boyfriend and I love sushi. Ever since going to this little gem, nothing seems to come close. Always prompt service and the sushi is always a hit. We always leave full and the prices are great. Nom nom nom. :-D
