The food is exquisite and the ambiance quite pleasant. What is unpleasant is the fact that while the stickers on the front window advertise the restaurants acceptance of a wide variety of credit cards, the reality is that once inside -- and typically, after one has already eaten -- it is discovered that their credit card processing terminal is "temporarily unavailable", and that they only accept cash. This scam has been going on for months: the restaurant enjoys the fruits of advertising their acceptance of credit cards, but they never have to pay the surcharge of processing them, whereas their customers have to struggle with the inconvenience of producing cash on the fly. Ive already reported this situation to my credit card company. I strenuously suggest that you do the same. Fraud at any level is unconscionable.

We are so happy we stumbled upon this place! BEST Indian Cuisine in town. Cannot beat the price for the buffet. Authentic Indian Cuisine with most the friendliest service. My husband and I have been here 2 times already with a short period of time and will be going back again soon! We find ourselves craving their food. It is set back from the road with a strip of store, wish I could put a sign on Commack Road saying "Go Here to Eat!!!" Love to give to local businesses and we will keep giving to this place!

Food is below average; stale, no taste whatsoever, the rice might have been the only thing you can tolerate. The owner of the place whoever is much worse - the moment you step inside he makes you feel like you are bothering him. He is in the wrong line of business - hospitality means you make feel people welcome; not the case here. You are not welcome, period. He treats customers like they are a nuisance, even if he had good intentions in mind. Repeating customers make a business. I will not be going back.

Looking to fill a bald spot? The food was awesome until I found enough hairs in my salad to make a toupee. It was seriously like 5 strands. Blonde hair. My hair is black. The worker accused me of planting my hair in the salad! I was shocked and appalled. If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would. We arrived about 30 min prior to close but that is no excuse for not 1, not 2 but multiple strands of hair. I thought Id vomit up a beozar after I left. PLEASE, DO NOT DINE AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!

Great little place. The food is delicious, and for once, it is possible to taste the ingredients and not only the spices as it is too foten the case in other Indian restaurants. The dinner buffet serves everything from vegetarian options to three different kind of chicken. A little limited on dessert options, but thats the only negative. The owner/ host is very friendly, and because of the small setup, he is always ready to help. I highly recommend, and I usually dont like Indian food...

Well, this place used to be a good place. However, in the last few months they no longer take credit/debit (however, there is an itty bitty sign near the register saying such) and the food at their buffet was severely lacking. Good luck sifting through the sauce to find your chicken tikka marsala and the ill labeled "cuisine." Looks like they are about to shut down and taking the business of those looking to just settle. Avoid at all costs.

I went for lunch. It was okay, but the staff, particularly the manager, are rude. The bread thats provided with the meal had a few pieces left over, and I wanted to take it so it wouldnt go to waste. The manager/owner says its "Against company policy". Really, for three triangles of bread, theyre going to lose a customer? The food was decent, but Im not going to go to a restaurant where the staff is rude and cheap. Will never go here again.

The food at this restaurant is Amazing I love it they have Buffet there is a lot of variety of food so many dishes I went there for dinner buffet with a few co workers everything was perfect and the staff there was super nice. the buffet included with this delicious round bread called naan they bring it fresh out the kitchen. I really Enjoyed Everything!! and I look forward to going there again.

This Place is So Worth it. Their Food is really delicious. The Buffet the food quality and price. is what makes it the best spot for Indian food on L.I. and its only 9.99 for buffet on weekdays for the lunch buffet. and they give it with unlimited round hot buttery bread. Their dinner buffet and weekends price is only like 2 or 3 dollars more which is still a great price for this type of food.

After you eat your food the owner tells you that you have to pay cash because his credit card machine is broken. If you dont have the cash he tells you to go the the ATM, if you refuse he will magically fix his credit card machine to collect your payment. Thanks, but no thanks. (Coincidently, it was pathetic watching him pretend to fix the machine, I laughed out loud a little)

Very bad food quality.... And owner played cheap ticks to avoid taxs by not accepting card and not giving proper bill. VERY VERY BAD FOOD QUALITY....Naan was stinking...palak paneer was missing paneer (not even single piece after deep search)... Curd was mixed with ranch or some thing....and many more......I dont even want give 1 star but it wont allow me to give zero....

35 dollars for 2 plates of take out? No winder the place was empty besides us. They advertise that they take credit cards but after wed gotten our food and went to pay it was cash only all of a sudden.. I had to run around the shopping center looking for an atm to get cash for food that made me and my husband sick anyway. Never again.

I went there on 3 Oct 14, with 2 of my friends to enjoy delicious Indian food, but it was nightmare for us, food was horrible, all of us had upset stomach after eating it, food was not fresh, there was no Paneer in Pakal paneer, no fish in methi fish, smelly mutton curry. it was total waste of money, I will never go there again.

Didnt know what to expect when I walked into this place. Im a first timer for Indian Cusine and I must say it was delicious. On Mondays they do 10 bucks all you can eat Buffet. Most of their choices were chicken, but it was delicious. For dessert, we had their own rice pudding. Delicious. I highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful experience there. The staff was very friendly and social, the food was excellent and very very flavorful, the music was very relaxing and evocative. If you are looking for some good local Indian food at a great price, you really cant go wrong with this wonderful establishment.

Dining at Namaste America is an absolutely delightful experience. We recently went in for the buffet and enjoyed it immensely. The food is delicious and fresh with hot naan coming out all the time. There was also plenty of options for vegetarians. Cant wait for our next visit!
