Second visit, very nice architecture. I remember the food/service to be better. Lobster ravioli was good. Chicken and seafood dish, was delivered with cold chicken, it didnt even look cooked. Braised short ribs were overcooked. The waiter looked puzzled, when I asked for a steak knife, had to bring another because he only brought one, there were two meat dishes. I had to move my own place setting to my seat, as the water boy did not take the hint when I told him, "I sat in the wrong seat." I dont mind paying for good food, ~24 per entree, but the meal and service in this restaurant are not worth the price point. The bar looked full, I will likely try that if I ever make it there again.

Im surprised at the iffy reviews. We LOVE this place. The chef/owner is a CIA grad and makes the best French onion soup Ive ever had. His wife, who waited on us once, is also a grad, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and its preparation, as well as friendly and enthusiastic. She was able to suggest wines which paired perfectly with our meals, and her service was spot-on. Last time we brought a family member who has owned 2 highly reputed restaurants in Rockland Co., and he was very favorably impressed. This is now our go-to restaurant second only to Il Barilotto in Fishkill.

The setting of this place is rather nice and the service was good. The braised short ribs were extremely overcooked. The waitress stated that "theyre braised all day so that they fall off the bone". I think she meant to say they were cooked all day. They were very dry and had little flavor outside of tasting well done. My girlfriends chicken dish was decent, but nothing special. I almost always give places a second chance, but unfortunately both dishes left much to be desired.

On August 3rd, I had dinner for the 1st time at the Landmark Inn. The food is OUTSTANDING!!! The BEST FOOD I have eaten at a Restaurant in my WHOLE LIFE. I am soon to be 67 years. I ordered lamb chops. The meat was PERFECT and the vegetables were PERFECT, they were slightly crunchy the healthiest way to eat vegetables. I am from the Chicago Area. I HOPE to return to the Landmark Inn many times. Plus, the SERVICE was EXCELLENT and WARM.

This was sometime ago. My date and i showed up on an obviously busy night, where we probably should of had reservations. We were seated right away. The staff did politely suggest reservations for the future. The decor was beautiful. Place was quite charming. I had one of the best risottos I ever tasted. Honestly cant wait to eat there again.

The Landmark is probably the most consistanly good restrant in Warwick. My wife and I eat here on a regular basis and are rarely disappointed. The pub room has great atmosphere and live music on weekends. Good food, good service and a comfortable atmosphere!

We make the pub side of the landmark our Friday night home most weeks. The pub food is very moderately priced and the best around by far. The restaurant side we save for family visits, but the food is just as good.

It was a tale of two dinners, the chicken and seafood landmark was great, the pork shoulder and gnocchi not so much. The pork we excellent buy the gnocchi was not good. Both desserts were great however

Nice staff, great historic atmosphere, views of woods. Entrees mid 20s to 30s. Food is nice but not wonderful which is a shame since the atmosphere is great.
