My family and I had begun to frequent this restaurant a few months ago.We were pleasantly surprised with the food and the entire experience. Similar to other reviews prior to mine, until there was a problem. My family and I visited for dinner Friday evening. We placed our order and everything was fine. We noticed a little while later the table next to us got their dinners delivered. Then the server ran back to the table a few minutes later and told the gentleman that they mistakenly served him Chicken Parmesan instead of Veal Parmesan. He had just cut into the meat but hadnt noticed yet. They took the Chicken away and brought him his Veal. I joked with my family, "That was probably my Chicken Parm". A few moments later the server came out with our dinners. When they put my dinner in front of me I noticed that the Chicken was cut open, I asked if they served me the dinner they had served the other gentleman at the next table, they replied "No, that is a new dinner". I asked why the Chicken Parm was sliced open, then the waitress came over and said she was sorry and the chef would normally not do that. They brought me a new dinner a few minutes later, but my appetite was not the same now. I thought maybe the manager/owner should have come over and let us know he was aware of this, but he didnt. We were getting ready to ask for the bill when my wife decided to go tell the manager what happened, so she walked out to the lobby area so not to make a scene in the restaurant. She spoke to Kevin the Owner/Manager of the establishment and he responded that he didn’t know about the situation and one of us should have come and told him right away. (I didn’t know that it was our job to keep him informed of poor service, thought that might be the job of his staff) He told her that he would send over some desserts to the table, but we really weren’t interested in dessert. He came off sarcastic and unsincere in any apology, so she told him to forget about it. She returned to the table. Kevin then came to our table and started making a scene in front of the entire restaurant saying it was our fault that we didn’t come get him sooner. I mentioned that I am in the customer service business and that I understood that sometimes employees do not do the right thing, but he should not be blaming us for his staff not being trained properly. My daughter was getting embarassed by the situation and he made all of us feel uncomfortable, so I just asked for the check. I let my wife and daughter go out to the car while I paid the bill, I did tip the waitress as I don’t feel that she was at fault. On my way out Kevin was in the lobby. I explained that we were simply trying to make him aware of the situation quietly outside of the dining area so it would not be brought to the rest of the customers attention, Kevin said “I already apologized 3 times to you and your wife, what do you want me to do, get naked and dance around upstairs for you?! I told him that was a totally inappropriate statement and that I had no idea where that was coming from. I exited the door and Kevin followed me out the door, then he said “You work in customer service? I would like to know where you work so I can call and complain about you!” I guess this is why the restaurant is not that crowded and maybe they like it that way. We will not go there again and I will share this with everyone I can. I am in Customer Service and I tend to do a lot of surveys and I give praise and accolades for good service as well as putting poor reviews for bad service. Too bad that Kevin could not see that this was an opportunity to turn a bad situation around.

Incredibly poor service. Prime rib was overly seasoned with rosemary and tasted old. Mashed potatoes were runny and just unacceptable. Mushroom gravy was just plain disgusting. Waiter brought meal before we barely touched our salads. Saw the waiter once to take our order and once for the check. Excuses were that they had a wedding party and they were trying to get everybody served before the wedding party. Not our problem. Very disappointing experience will never go back.

Patrons of Timbers since their inception. Kevin, Sharon, and their side kick Dave always welcome us with open arms. Consistently good fare. Diverse menu options. Inventive seasonal specials. The only restaurant I know to serve an entire rack of lamb as a portion. Staff goes above and beyond to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions. Very friendly down to earth vibe.

Good place to eat and good service as well. It would have been better if there was a little music. It is not fun listening loud noise of adjacent tables customer. Overall good place to go for night out. I should admit, good food though.

We held a repass there today for my Uncle. The staff could not have been any nicer or helpful. The food was very good. Thank to all that made a sad day a little brighter.
