Disappointed in the Franklin, NJ Roy Rogers. I was really looking forward to Roy Rogers coming back. When I was a kid, Roys was the very best fast food place. They had the best fried chicken. Best burgers. Good roast beef. Went to the Franklin Roys hoping for the same. Not to be. I went to the drive thru. Ordered 3 piece chicken combo (includes drink, biscuit and a side). Also ordered a "large" roast beef and an order of fries without a drink. First of all they forgot to include my side. The chicken was very bland and was over-cooked and dry. BIG disappointment! The fries were ok, but nothing special. And they called that a LARGE roast beef? I would hate to see the regular size roast beef! The order came to $18.90. Way, way overpriced. Im hoping that since they are new, things will get better with time. I may give them one more chance in a couple of months. It is a shame that things are seldom as good as you remember them from the past.

OK so its not a genuine standalone Roy Rogers, but the chicken was amazing and the Roast Beef sandwich brought back memories. It loses a star for slow service. When there are over 30 people on line, dont get so chatty with the customers asking them where theyre from!!

Is this the Roy Rogers that Sour Shoes, aka Mike from Mahopac works at? Cause if it is, Ill give a 5 star review. As a matter of fact, Ill drive up there right now from NYC and find him and tell him how hilarious he is.

Food not made fresh to order. Roast beef was dry and chicken fingers tasted like they were at least an hour old. Everything tasted generally bland and of mediocre quality. All of this for unjustifiably high prices.

I didnt like ANYTHING about this place or the food..horribly over priced, rubbery food..keep driving past it and dont look back!!..AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!
