.........I have been to this Ihop with my family on many occasions. I was there this past Sunday and was told by the owner that the wait would be 15 minutes for a party of five. For the next 45 minutes we waited patiently while he sat others with a party of four that had just recently came in to sections where we have been sat on previous occasions. I complained to the owner that we were told the wait would be 15 minutes and that there was a big difference between 15 minutes and 45 minutes, and he simply said that we had to wait for a section for five to become available, even after I told him that we had sat previously on the sections where he was sitting four. After waiting 15 more minutes for a total of one hour, I again complained to the owner, who finally replied in a rude manner, to wait or leave. I would sincerely recommend to everyone who reads this review, to avoid eating at this Ihop and to please spread the word. The owner of this establishment is an unprofessional and rude individual who takes for granted the value of a satisfied repeat customer. This is a person who needs a wake up call to make him realize, that without us, there is no Ihop.

Took the kids here for breakfast during the week and was very happy with the place. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. I was very happy with our waiter who was very friendly. At one point I had taken the kids to the bathroom and told the waiter because no one was at our table. When we came back our table was cleared! Although we pretty much finished our meals they quickly brought out all new items and apologized. So an honest mistake handled very well.

Hard to describe. Waited too long for food, was not busy at all, and when the food did come it was awful. Pancakes were tastelesss, poached eggs overcooked and had to wait for the warm maple syrup. And that was just my order. The two other people experienced the same. Too bad because going to IHOP has always been a special trip for me. Maybe thats why it wasnt busy. There is always a reason. NO stars.

Was here and they told us it was a few mins waiting the half of the restaurant was empty and after 20 mins waiting they said they are low on staff, a very unprofessional personal and very rude,vent to a other ihop on rt 46 in Parsippany there we got a table right away and a very good service, ppl stay away from the ihop in Ramsey worst place ever, going to report the place to the ihop corporate

We had a great time here! Took the wife and kids here to celebrate a good report card and left happy and FULL!! The kids always love coming here. Our server, Jonathan, was excellent despite appearing to be somewhat new. Polite, friendly and always there to check on us. The kids menu was well received as always - and the S/F menu was a great option for the wife! We"ll be back!!

Even with new management a new ownership this place still seems to screw up no matter what you do it doesnt get any easier than calling in the order and having them read it back to you only to find out that once you pick it up it is completely wrong. thanks again its corporations and chain stores that have employees who really dont care

International House of Profanity. Overpriced and service is hit or miss. Went all the time with family (young kids), but chronic f-bombs of customers and staff without the manager controlling the situation has crossed IHOP off our family restaurant list. Second star is for the tasty food.

One of if not the best IHOP restaurants Ive ever been to. The food is good, if not spectacular. The prices are reasonable. But its the staff that drives the rating to 4 stars. They are almost always right there for anything you need, and always very friendly and accommodating.

The lady at the front is just rude and has no sense of her job. Instead of taking names goes individual per person strolls thru the restaurant and then sits you and will not take payment only at the table is just a mess server was great

Sat in booth for a full 10 minutes and was never approached by a staff member. Group next to us was served and then waitress returned to make sure their orders were ok and did not even acknowledge us. Services like that are horrid.

I have been here and had great service, and been there and have had terrible service. The last two times have been terrible. When I cant even get a fresh cup of coffee, you shouldnt be serving breakfast.

My experience with IHOP is limited because nowadays, I visit only on Free Pancake Day. However, I think its a decent place and their collection of pancake syrups is a change from the usual.
