Sort of the spot to go to when youre trying to figure out where youre going. For me, the quintessential New Jersey diner. Mainly, longer than it should be menu, with many offerings, trying to revolve around a continental type of cuisine with random other offerings, probably based on the chef or owners actual tastes. Not really sure. The food is good, as in served quickly, how you like it, though probably not very memorable. The place is clean, and generally has a comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. I think the ubiquity of this place can be seen in the various nicknames given to it, both good and bad, that reinforce whether or not you want to eat here, you probably eventually will.

This place is not as busy as the other 2 brunch places nearby. This is a family diner which serves no frills breakfast that I have no problem supporting. And if theres a wait for table it is usually not that long. It even easier if you are by yourself or with another person. you can easily snag a spot on the counter. I ordered the walnut and banana french toast. I wish the walnut was toasted and the banana was cut and placed on top of toast. Next time Id would just save the extra $ and order the french toast.

Its a daily Mistreat. Bad food. Went there for brunch. The eggs had very strong egg stench. I had a momentary lapse of judgement and ordered a burger. You would think they would make their own patty. Im pretty sure they used a store bought frozen patty. I had one bite and couldnt eat anymore. The waitress didnt even bother to ask what was wrong, let alone offering to take it off the bill. Some neighborhood restaurant.

was there on sunday oct 5 2014 for breakfast at 7 am and was in the hospital by 10 am with food poisoning and was in the hospital all day.... i will never eat in this place ever again called the health dept to look into this place to see what is going on in the kitchen and im waiting for them to report back to me this week when they do a inspection

I would never go here ever, the food was gross and the service sucked. People were extremely rude, dont waste your time. Pick a place like country pancake house where you know your time and money are appreciated.

Ordered the salmon salad not a salmon on a rotten bed of greens. I got tired of picking out greens that were gooy with brown mucous ends ....you could tell they were going bad.

The food is, very, good and service is exceptjonal. Pricing is reasonable. The Belgian waffles with sausage is great, especially, when covered with fruit of your choice.

Its a diner that looks like a restaurant. These are my favorite pancakes anywhere. Much better than the over-rated "Pancake House" across the street. Real maple syrup!
