Went for dinner with a friend while visiting this past Saturday. Food was overpriced for quality, service was ok, but paid the bill and put a decent tip on the card. The charge cleared my account Monday. Today, I check my account balance to see that I am being charged for the tip that I left on my card, which has already cleared my account. I call the restaurant and ask them to refund/reverse the charge and they tell me theyll give me a gift card. I tell them I live an hour away and I dont want a gift card, I want a refund. The gentleman on the phone proceeds to tell me he needs to call his manager, and call me back. Returned my call, this time to tell me that I needed to come into the restaurant to get my refund - which should have never been charged to my card in the first place! Again, I say I live an hour away and that I am not in the area often. Still nothing other than a gift card or to go in for them to refund me. The charge is now being disputed through my bank.

We (group of 5) went there for lunch. The ambiance of the place was impressive. Because there were less options on the Buffet, we asked the guy whether we could order from the menu. He was very rude in his response. Anyways we decided to go ahead with Buffet. Was very upset with the tandoori Chicken since it was tasteless and not fully cooked. On asking for more Naan, the guy told us that only 1 piece Naan was served with the Buffet. We told him that we will pay for the extra Naan and he still refused. Later, I asked him to refill the Onion Bhaji since it was over, he became very rude with us. I would say terrible service. I suggest save your $$$ and take you business elsewhere.

Easily my favourite restaurant in the Binghamton/Vestal area (and I have eaten at almost all of them) The food is authentic and tasty, the atmosphere romantic, the wine list is good (try the Kim Crawford) and the service second to none. Many of the reviews here say that Moghul is expensive - I beg to differ! Where else can you get a main course for as little as $12? And if you really want a full belly try the daily lunch buffet for around $15 you will leave happy although you wont be able to button your pants for a week! Unless your tastes run to the local burger joint this place is a must (especially on date night).

The food here is amazing. Easily one of my favorite restaurant in the area. The only problem is that its also one of the most expensive restaurants in the area. The menu selection is quite a treat, and the serving size is usually just right. Depending on what you order, you might feel a bit jipped, but that seems normal these days. Drinks menu is pretty good if youre after a nice cocktail. The wine selection is average, but definitely marked up too much. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and the location and decor is great too. Overall, its a must try.

Liked the atmosphere, service was slow, and wait staff was always in a hurry. When asked, waiter only recommended the two most expensive entrees on the menu. When I said I didnt want to spend that much, he seemed like he didnt have any other recommendations. I liked the presentation of the food, and it was good. Tried chicken tikka. The chicken was overcooked, the rice and tomato based cream sauce that came with it were good. Kandharri naan bread was excellent, though it didnt sound too appealing. Id highly recommend it, and I would go back to try more entrees.

This is truly wonderful Indian cuisine, served in a lovely setting with a friendly and solicitous wait staff. I have recommended this restaurant to many as the best in the area. Personal favorite dishes include the Chilean sea bass cooked in the tandori oven (two pieces, large portion), any of the saag dishes, the tandoori chicken, and the biryani. The mango and pistachio ice cream desserts are special. I also frequent on a weekly or semi-weekly basis the lunch buffet, which is, not surprisingly, excellent and varied from day-to-day. Highly recommended!

Found it very expensive (since last year). They discountinued the complementary relishes they used to offer last year. They increased the rates by atleast 25%. Fortunately the quality has remained. For the price I would prefer eating at home. Spent $67 with tip for 2 starters ($6 each) + 2 Vegitarian Curry ($15 each) + 3 bread (~ $10). No drinks or soda. You also want to watch out on the credit card receipt. The waiter included the tip in the bill (18%) and then added $2 on the receipt by hand. So watch out for the total amount.

The prices here are not easy on the wallet. That said, if youre looking for a unique dining experience this may be worth a couple extra bucks. I am not sure how true this place is to authentic Indian food, but as a rookie I found all of their dishes strange and delightful. Mango lassi drink was great for clearing the palette and working you through the heat or spiciness of a dish. The atmosphere is great. The buffet is insane in my opinion... it comes in at around 18 bux but its the tastiest buffet in town IMO.

Ive gotta say, I used to come here for Chicken (back in like 09-10) and wasnt impressed with the food. As of lately however, it has been quite delicious. The service has been fast and respectful, the prices are more than fair, and the portions are quite good. My girlfriend and I usually get an order of Chicken Tikka and some naan. The chicken is high quality and is spiced and cooked just right - every single time. The naan is also great. Its a clean, happy, and nice atmosphere. 9/10.

We had a great waiter (Shawn or Sean), but he couldnt make up for the fact that our food took forever, or that our bill arrived as soon as we got our appetizer, or that when our food finally arrived they forgot our bread. The rice we had with our meals was undercooked. If you just want to experience Indian food this is a good place to start, but I was on a date and the service kinda ruined the mood. Id probably try other Indian restaurants in the area before returning.

This Indian Restaurant is FABULOUS! The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the prices are not bad for the quality and you can find discounts on-line. We got a couple different curries, each ones spice and flavors were complex and unique. When starting the meal and given the choice of soup or salad always go for the soup, its great and the salad is not so interesting. Go here if you love good food! Yes you may find cheaper Indian food but it will not be as good.

Got some delivery and it came in 50 minutes and was so delicious. Just what I needed on a crappy day in Binghamton after 3 days of clouds and rain on a Sunday for dinner. Would recommend it to anyone in the mood for some Indian Cuisine. Gonna have to explore the menu some more, I played it safe with the meat samosas and the Chicken Tikka Masala which were both fantastic, however they have a large menu and looking forward to sampling much much more.
