Tonight at Empire Buffet the waitress came to get us refills and took the cups off our table then went to another table and took their cups and some plates. Upon returning to our table I noticed she didnt give us clean cups. My brother was drinking water with lemon and the cup she put down in front of him had no lemon so he asked how she knew that was his cup and she replied "I know I know" which she didnt know since the other cup in her hand had the lemon in it!! She was going to give him someone elses dirty cup and the other table his dirty cup!! So disgusting!!! When we told the manager she blamed it on them being busy. Never is it acceptable to mix peoples dirty dishes its unsanitary. I could not believe it happened and then the manager made an excuse for it!! Needless to say we will NOT be returning and if you go there please keep an eye on your beverages!!

I ate there Sat 8/5/17, they were very busy, but the buffet was a disaster as far as cleanliness food was everywhere, on the floor and the buffets were filthy with food. I decided to give it another go on 8/12/17 - it was much worse, the Mei Fun which is my favorite looked like it had been taken off other peoples plates and put in the serving tray, it tasted old and mushy YUK! the won ton noodles were at least five days old soggy and no flavor, the broth was bland but too salty. The rest of the food seemed ok. I have had much better meals at this location and may possibly give them one more try. I asked two different waitresses where the dumpling sauce was and they could not understand me. Bathrooms dirty and paper all over floor.

I love seafood, but should have known all I could eat clams was too good to true. I actually only ate about 10 or so and became terribly sick after. Waking up the next day throwing up and still trying to flush out what seems like food poisoning 2 days later. I mentioned it to my nephew who said he had a similar experience at Empire buffet (this is before I told him what buffet I went to) he said he had the salmon and threw up for days. And only the American food didnt make him sick. Sorry, but I wont risk going somewhere that has a constant report of food poisoning.

Aweful, the food was nothing to write home about. Most of it was bland and tasteless. If had more American food than anything. The ice cream is fake. It immediately melted as you were dispensing it from the machine. Lastly the type of customers it brings. Nothing like trying to enjoy your meal and the table next to you has kids playing around. Table if front of you filled with plain trash, in PAJAMAS no less. People get dressed before going to a restaurant and please wash your hair! That was the 1st and last time going here!

I dont know when the previous reviewer visited the Empire Buffet. My family has been there a number of times, and have always found the food to be fresh and hot. Or, in the case of the sushi bar, fresh and cool. We have never been disappointed once, either by the service or the food. Empire Buffet is the only one well visit now. There is another Chinese buffet restaurant on Erie Blvd, and the points made in the negative review here could actually apply to them. But NEVER to Empire Buffet!

I sat down and a friendly gentleman at the table beside us adamantly suggested we try the Peanut Butter Chicken. I gave it a go and was very happy with the result. The Black Pepper Chicken was also delicious! My 1 year old loved the fruit and jello bar. The sushi was tasty and I made an apple pie a la mode dessert. I was impressed with the large variety of food options, and good quality of the food, especially for a buffet. Im looking forward to my next visit!

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. As the only African-American group we were required to pay prior to being seated. As opposed to the other patrons who paid after dining. We were then accused of not paying for one person so our meal was interrupted as the manager made a scene only to determine after being embarrassed, the unpaid person was a child who they dont charge for. We will never return.

I used to love this place food was good and price was even better. But as of late this place is going down hill. I drove all the way from baldwinsville just to get food poisoning. 15 mins after eating the food my belly cramped up something bad. I had to pull over and run to the bathroom at a store. all i had to eat was the crab bake and the mushrooms. this was the last time i will be back.

Food is great!! Service is horrible and it was like as soon as I got there i had to leave. They brought the check within 20 minutes of me and my family being there. An brought only one round of drinks no one ever came back to check to see if we was thirsty. Also when we look around no one else had checks on there table and a few people was there before us and we left before them.

Every time I go there there is no crab legs. "limit 5" ?? How about actually putting some out ? Selection is getting less and less, and yet the price is higher than any other buffet in the Syracuse area. Just short of $30.00 for two people !. Im done with the place, been going there since it opened. The quality and price does not warrant going back.

This was a very good experience. We went on a very busy Saturday night, this place was packed! They had a large variety of food and service was acceptable. The sushi is pretty basic but yummy and fresh. The chicken on the stick was by far one of the best I ever had. We will definitely go back again.

its the best! Lots of seating, very bright & lit. always lots of people. Most staff are friendly. So much variety over 30 hot dishes plus a fantastic sushi chef that makes everything from sushi to California rolls to dragon rolls!! Awesome! Real decent prices.

I found my experience horrible! The food was old, it was cold, dry, and or mushy, and some of it was even over cooked. It was definitely not worth the drive nor the price we paid. This place needs better quality control!

Majority of my "hot choices" were cold. No flavor on the Chicken broccoli. I hate how the workers hover around the table and give check before you even finish eating. I thought it was all you can eat buffett.

Arrived at about 8 pm and no new food or crab legs brought out and we left about 9 45. The food left was old, dried out and cold in some cases. Dont expect to get any crab at this place. Very disappointed

waitresses were rude, they never came back after they brought us our drinks. They ignored my family and I when we tried to ask them for things. The food was a bit salty and most of the dishes were cold.
