We got there an hour after they opened and the food looked terrible. Food wasnt hot, very dried out and hard. We spoke with a manager about all this an he could have cared less. There was also a family and 2 other couples who were upset. Oh, did I forget to mention the female mgr.who was taking selfie pictures while all this is going on!!! DONT KNOW WHAT CORPORATE THINKS OF THIS PLACE, BUT AS IVE BEEN IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS FOR 25 YEARS THAT PLACE NEEDS QUALIFIED MANAGERS TO RUN THAT PLACE RIGHT!!! I KNOW I COULD TURN THAT PLACE AROUND FOR THE BETTER!!!!!!!!

The pass 4 visits to this restaurant has gotten worst with each visit. This is suppose to be a steak restaurant but dont know how to cook a steak. I ask for medium well and they want to give me rare or well done. On the last visit, the manager cooked my steak and he cooked it extra well done. The only thing I got from him was Im sorry. None of the management team seems to care about the customers or their comments. There are other issues but Im not even going to get into them. I will never go to this restaurant again.

It isnt world class food here at the Golden Corral, but it was a decent dinner experience nonetheless. The restaurant seemed clean but definitely well-trafficked. The food selection was broad, but some of the dishes definitely could have tasted better (particularly the turkey which was very, very dry). I did enjoy the various desserts, and who doesnt love a chocolate fountain? We may or may not be back -- I think wed have to be in the mood for this kind of food, but that does seem to happen once every few months.

this is the worst golden corral i have ever eaten at....there was hardly a variety of food...the food was COLD...the man cooking the steaks didnt know how to cook them and he also was wrapping a bandaid around his finger in which i could see the blood coming out....the workers uniforms were dirty and they couldnt hold a plate to save their life they kept dropping everything everywhere...i told the manager about this and all he could say was "Im sorry" HOW PATHETIC

If youre looking for a buffet-style restaurant, this place is one of the best! Golden Corral at Redmill is always on point. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and the food is always fresh. I have never had a problem with this restaurant yet, and Im not usually a fan of buffets. I always start out with a salad and a deviled egg, then move on to the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and stuffing! So delicious

Worse experience @ a Golden Corral ever!!! The only good thing out of the experience was the waitress. Shes a little old lady that runs her butt off! It didnt matter what we went up to get it was cold, we spoke with the manager expressed that the good was cold, she says give me 5 minutes, in which we never seen her again. Also stay away from the fruit bar, all of the fruit was soggy like its been sitting for days!!!

We enjoyed the food, it wasnt real tasty but it was edible. Employees really made the experience bad. Made us feel uncomfortable as soon as we walked in, especially one of the crew leaders who ignored us not once but twice. She was so rude, made us never want to go back. She ignored my husband who asked for change, and my one year old who told her hi over and over.

Food wasnt fresh. Was really slow so good was sitting out for a while. Variety was a lot less than other locations Ive been to, including one in a small town with less than 80,000 people. Virginia Beach is the most populous city in VA. I wouldnt recommend coming here again. On a positive note, our server Sarah did an excellent job taking care of us.

Food appears and tastes fresh. Fried shrimp tacos tasted like theyd come from a 5 star restaurant. A plethora of dessert choices. Bread pudding to boot! Which was fabulous. Floors were clean and staff were professional and polite. Made sure we had plenty of drink refills. Didnt visit the restroom during this dining experience.

Best golden corral around every thing is clean and the food is all fresh excellent staff, workers are very polite , cant get over how neatly organized the food bars are . Nothing like the one on battlefield blvd that ones nasty the food is all over every thing , I would rather drive 15 miles out of my way to this one.

Went at about 4 pm with my family. All the food seemed like it had been sitting out WAY too long. For example, my rice may as well have been made of titanium. Some of their desserts were pretty fresh though. Im far from picky and I never complain about food but this isnt a very good Golden Corral.

Ex-employee..They have roaches. Forced to serve spoiled food. Every time I ate here I had diarrhea.bad diarrhea and Stomach cramps. Employees are rude, miserable and joke about the crappy food they serve..would not recommend eating here if you are elderly or have small children..be safe.

Its been 2 years since we let time we came here and it will probably be another 2 years again. We only came because the children wanted it but with having hair in our food, food was lukewarm, and the dirty dishes on the buffet they had out to put your food on, we wont be returning.

Not the best buffet. At least when I was there. The staff was ok and the food was decent, but after I eat my food (Thankfully) a boy put his hands in the chocolate fountain, putting them in his mouth and touching everything. A very unpleasant experience.

We came here after a cheer competition and were very hungry. They had such a good variety of food that was replaced very quickly. The place was kept very clean and the employees are very nice and attentive. Would visit again next time Im in the area.

My server Maggie was really courteous and made sure we were taken care of..the food was average but i understand its not going to be a 5 star meal..some of the food was lukewarm and stale but other than that my experience was pleasant

Amazing place. The food selection and price is redixulous . How are they making Money? Steak guy seemed grumpy and only gives small pieces but its the best steak ever so I kept going back for more. Staff was amazing

Food was OK it was a little crowded they jacked up the price on it because it was Mothers Day but the chocolate fountain was on and it was limited bakery things available but other than that it was OK

The young girl at the counter was rude, I placed an order to go.. and as expensive as a drink is, she didnt even fill it up. The manager fixed it but acted as if it wasnt a problem.
