This is definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in the area and I have been to several in Westchester. We exclusively go for the lunch buffet, which is served daily for about $10 (the weekend buffet is a bit more extensive at around $14). We lived in the neighborhood for a couple of years and would visit this restaurant regularly with our two young children. Even though we now live 25 minutes a way, we still make a special trip to come here at least once a month to get our Indian fix. Ive also brought coworkers here and everyone always loves it. The staff is quiet, but friendly and everyone always gives us a warm welcome. The buffet is a nice variety of vegetarian, chicken and meat dishes as well as salads, soup and desserts. Of the places I have tried in the area, this one definitely has the most variety. My kids are always able to find something they like and I notice that that there are oftentimes other families here with children as well. Although Ive never seen it officially published on the menu, they charge about $5 for children to eat from the buffet and dont charge anything for very young children (less than about 2 or 3). My kids especially love the Indian music and videos that plays on a TV by the bar. Food from the buffet is usually mild to medium spicy, but they will make it spicier if you order from the menu.

Food as bland as styrofoam. Service as poor as metro north between 2 and 6 am. Ambiance which makes you wish you were in a White Castle at 3am. Fortunately, you get to sit within 1 foot of a table in every direction so that they can ask you to move while eating. Truly a shame what poor management can do to a restaurant which was in great shape a few years back. It gave up its indentity to focus on quantity instead of quality. Additional Notes: -Naan bread which tastes microwaved. -Soda directly from a can. -Finish a dish? Nobody will take it for 30 minutes. -60 degrees outside? Dont worry the air condtioner is running via a wall unit right next to you. -You get to eat on a paper matt instead of a table cloth -Spring rolls and other apps which have nothing to do with India were obviously purchased from the local Costco -Enjoy Indian music? Too bad you will just hear other people eating. On a positive note they have a functional tv which shows a slide show of the amazon...just to remind you it isnt an actual Indian restaurant -Fortunately there are decent restaurants nearby...I was able to get actual lunch once I left

Ive been a patron of this Indian jewel for a few years. My experiences have always been very pleasant. The staff are very attentive and on point; for example, youd never have to worry about not have enough water, they even understand head nods and laymen signing. Food of course is the star of the show. The menu is tremendous without being overwhelming, and if you still cant decide the waiters are more than willing to help. Although Im no longer eating meat, they still have plenty of options for both vegetarians and vegans, which Im very please with. The flavors of most dishes, at least the ones Ive had, were great if not excellent. Btw, the weekend sit-in buffet is about $16.xx per person and this price includes tax, no tip. Weekend buffet hours are 12pm - 2:30pm, they start shutting down after 2:30pm and may not let you in afterwards. The cost is less during the week, dont remember what it was. If youre willing to go a block or 2 away from the main streets you can find free street parking. Otherwise, parking is up to 2 hours, $.25 per 15 minutes.

Spice Village provides a great ambience and service while dining on tasty Indian cuisine. My family and I have dined here for lunch buffet for number of years. Weve also ordered from here for catering. Spice Village goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. All the dishes are very tasty, so it is hard for me to recommend any specific ones. However, Kappa with Fish curry is a great choice along with the Biriyani. The buffet allows you to sample all the different dishes and will leave you filled and satisfied. The dishes have more of a South Indian slant which is rare in this area but definitely needed as most other restaurants are offering only North Indian dishes. Spice Village also has special menus during Onam (South Indian festival), for which there is no competition. Onam time is a great opportunity to test the waters of South Indian dishes. Spice Village is an excellent dining option! Try them out and you will leave happy!

OMG - where do I begin? If you want to dine on lip-smackingly delicious food -- from enormous, succulent Pepper Shrimp Bagari, to their aromatic and spicy Chicken Biryani, then this is the place for you. The Kerala Parathas are a wonderful accompaniment to any dish, as is the Kashmiri Naan -- actually, all of the breads are great! The Paneer Tikka features the creamiest, most delicious hunks of paneer with fresh, crispy vegetables. The Sizzling Mixed Grill has enough chicken, lamb, shrimp and veggies for two, and the samosas and daals are to die for! I could go on and on, but Ill save us both the time -- GO enjoy a meal at Spice Village! The wonderful ambience and the cheerful servers provide a wonderful experience every time!

This South Indian fare is a gourmands treat. The fare is fresh and wonderfully seasoned, ensuring that each bite will delight all of the senses. The service is by far the best of any restaurant in the NY area -- they pamper guests, succeeding in making the experience simultaneously cozy and lively. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the Hindi music delightfully polishes the experience -- you feel as though youve left life as you know it for the respite of a small piece of Kerala. Spice Village provides a winning dining experience for an extremely reasonable price. Spice Village also provides takeout and catering. If you want party guests to compliment the cuisine, rely on Spice Village.

I have been coming to Spice Village for many years and I have been amazed by the quality and service of this place. Let me start off by saying that you will not find a better Buffett in the area. Wide variety of great food especially on the weekends when there is even more selection. As far as dine in goes. There food is super tasty and I have never been let down. They also have take out and delivery options and for me it has always been very prompt and orderly. I encourage people who are looking for some good indian food to give this place a try. Best in the area once again!!

Different variety and cooked differently as compared to Other Indian Restaurant in US. Service was excellent and quality of food uncomparable. If you order anything, you must tell them what kind of dishes are looking for and what do you expect. Most of dishes, they make it has base of honey because lot of visitors, they can not have spicy food. In Paneer Tikka masala, very fresh Paneer used - The best quality and second Bhindi Dou Pyaza - Excellent, never had before. Dosa - Taste of Real South India. They wont ask you for Tips, please must give include.
