To start off. The food was okay. It was like all the other Indian places in New York. Ordered one thing off of each section of the menu that their store is named for. The somosa chat was good. But the biryani was sub-par. Throughout India the biryani from Hyderabad is known to be a cut above the rest. It is a luxurious dish made with either chicken or mutton, basmati rice and a range of spices in which the meat is marinated after being mixed with yoghurt. If the dish is made correctly the aroma alone is enough to make you hungry even if you just ate. The meat is supposed to be tender enough to break apart using the back of a spoon. But sadly this place did not deliver. The two items and a drink cost me $18.00 which is agreeable for the quantity of food they serve. But the restaurant is the furthest thing from being authentic Hyderabadi. There was No irani chai (tea) no basic dal (lentils) , if anything the biryani tasted more Pakistani then Indian. All in all I dont think I would go back there. It was disappointing. There are restaurants that serve the real thing in NYC. This unfortunately is not one of them.

Came here for a lunch special to go. They have all of the different curries displayed in different trays. They have two different lunch special options: 2 veggie curries with rice and naan 1 meat/chicken curry and 1 veggie curry with rice and naan which is a buck more the woman was nice enough to explain all of the different curries to me. i settled on the chicken curry and the lentil curry. I wish the lentil curry had a bit more sauce and you have to beware of hidden chicken bones in the chicken curry but otherwise the meal satisfied my curry craving. My favorite part was the basmati rice. The thin naan bread they gave me was a bit tough and dry but bigger than my hand. It had a slight bitter taste. I wouldnt waste my time chewing it and just focus on the rice. I would go back and try all of the different veggie curries and their chat if i am on that block. They have a few small tables if you want to eat there. Like the size of a chinese take out place which i believe used to be there before they took over.

I had been craving butter chicken for the longest time. Not in the mood to venture out to Jackson Heights for my usual order of chicken makhani and garlic naan, I turned to Yelp to help me try and find another place to fix my craving. This place is... well, alright. Granted, I got the lunch special (9.79 for boneless chicken side and a vegetable side, along with a half of roti), but I found that the woman behind the counter wasnt afraid to accomodate my tastes (she added extra sauce -- yum!). Ive definitely had better butter chicken. It also was a little cold, so that definitely took away from the satisfaction. I would still go and get take-out there, being that I just got the lunch special, but Im noting that my usual place might just be better. All in all, cute place. I feel myself getting cravings again!

My boyfriend and I ate here tonight and were beyond impressed. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, and the menu has a large variety of dishes to choose from. Were paneer lovers so we tried the Paneer Butter Masala and were in love! The spice is amazing (couldve actually been a bit spicier actually, Im a spicy food lovin gal) and the flavors were nicely developed. The paneer was perfectly sized too. The dish paired wonderfully with the garlic naan bread, which was absolutely amazing as well. This is the best Indian restaurant weve been to and we will definitely be back. Prices are very good and the owners were very kind and helpful! Great dining experience here!

My husband and I have ordered from this place for a very long time.Tonight, the food was beyond gross. I asked for the food to be made mild as my husband or myself cant eat spicy food. I got the chana masala and the chicken korma both were vile. They were so spicy our mouths were on fire.I called up the restaurant to express my displease .I spoke with Ashwan, he rushed me off the phone and hung up. Will never order from this place again. Sucky service! Lost a long time customer. Shame on you!

Best Biryani every in NYC, Im so happy they listen to customer and now they do delivery. People are saying staff are rude but to get respect you have to show respect too, I was eating one day inside and one guys came and ask for biryani in a very angry tone and wants it in 3minute. If you know about Indian food the fresh is the best. I cant believe these customer still blame the staff. Anyway back to food topic, BEST BIRYANI EVER

I think during my time in New York I came to this place for dim sum twice and I attended a wedding here as well. It was a traditional Chinese wedding and they took care of everyone. When I ate there for dim sum, it was good and cheap as well. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting. However, get here early because the lines can be ridiculous !!

Its a nice restaurant but nothing spectacular. They managed to host a giant Fujianese wedding which is really tough. That community has a lot of family and relatives and friends and their family of friends. The food is good. It is a standardly good place. I wont say it was exceptional but it was very good. Very Good.

The food is good and cheap. The veg and non-veg combos are cheap and filling. THe chat is also cool. Its more of a take out of cafe style eating. There is place available to sit, but not really restaurant style. Its also open till late in the night (I think till 11 pm). Nice place overall.

Stopped here for dinner when visiting NY.. As we entered, it looked more of a take out place but we did dine in.. Awesome and one of a kind Pani puri.. And gobi manchurian.. Naan was delicious.. Paneer butter masala was 4/5.. I really enjoyed their food.. Must recommended place

Authentic and delicious food everytime. Ive eaten here a handful of times, mostly delivery. The mango lassi does come in a small portion for what they charge. From their appetizers to their desserts, I havent had one thing that I didnt enjoy.

Excellent Food especially the Biryani. This is coming from a British, who has traveled in India. The Chicken Tikka (UK National Dish) was superb. Garlic Naan was cooked well... Only issue was the wait.. 10mins but thats splitting hairs.
