These other reviews are either not real or do not reflect the typical experience or are written by people who only can compare this to the dining hall indian food. The concept is nice but you cant customize the spiciness, so the food is not authentic tasting at best and flavorless at worst. By definition the food here isnt exactly fresh off the heat either, since its sitting under glass, and unlike at Chipotle the turnover isnt fast enough for it to all be constantly being remade. The Royal Indian Grill down the street is owned by the same owner as Dosa on Route 5 and unless things improve here substantially I predict it will be on M street much longer.

Great Food and atmosphere. Has a variety of Indian subcontinent food items especially the grill items. Best of all are the various street appetizers like Pani Puri and Samosa Chat. Just love this place. Seekh Kabab Roll is a must try. They do of the menu orders as well lie custom orders. They do Chicken and Lamb Karahi (Stew) and some other dishes it requires at least a 10 minutes wait but worth it.

If you like Indian food this is the place to come! Its a hole in the wall so during busy times you may not find a place to sit but you can always get it to go. The food is amazing and the staff friendly. It only opened up recently but I already went twice. Its cafeteria style and service is quick. The goat is excellent and so is the lamb. The spicy sauce is bursting with flavor!
