Ive been here a few times. The first time I didnt like my food at all, but Im glad I gave it another try. The fajitas are amazing. Honestly, only thing I can recommend because if I deviate from that then everything is average at best. But their fajitas are consistently good every time. I wont try and say this is "authentic" Mexican or anything, but it does taste good. The good and bad part is a lot of the chips, salsa, drinks, guacamole, etc is all made differently. Sometimes, youll have amazing tasting food, other time, it will be "ehh". Its never bad and best part is they give you a LOT of chips and happy to refill your bowl. The guacamole is made right at your table which is neat. 90% of the time it is made very well, but I also recommend the queso dip. Their basic margarita (Casa Rita) is the best and normally it is very tasty (unless you get unlucky with a poor bartender). Unlike many places their margaritas actually have alcohol in them and not just sour mix. Prices are fair-pricey, but the staff has always been friendly and normally the food is delicious. Happy hour specials are good, and if you need a margarita, this is the place I recommend.

My partner and I have frequented cantina several times. A few months ago we decided to go on a saturday night and understood that it would be very busy (the mall is always busy on a saturday). We were seated quite quickly and ordered our meals. About twenty minutes later a table next to us sat down and ordered their meals. 45 minutes later my partner and I were STILL without our meals (65 minutes total waiting for food) and the table that had sat down after us had finished theirs and were ready to leave. I am not one to complain about food or service as I work in the restaurant industry, but I asked for a manager. The manager came to our table and was extremely abrasive and rude. It was clear that her she was either new as a manager or was just a waitress who had been filling in for a managers position for the night as her unprofessionalism was extremely apparent. During the conversation she claimed that I was drunk and offered to get me "more drunk" by exclaiming she would buy me a drunk. (I had had one drink prior to this) I was extremely offended by her remarks and have not been back nor will be back anytime soon.

I went with 3 friends for Sunday afternoon lunch. Very slow service. Not a good value. Our server was friendly and nice, but seemed overwhelmed and slow. The server never asked if we liked our meals. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and it took about 15 minutes for her to tell us that they were out of it. We then ordered our food and it took another hour for it to arrive, while numerous other tables were served. Tableside Guacamole: Good. Chicken Fajitas: Decent. Chicken Quesadilla: Simple, good. Tacos de barbacoa: Ok meat. Covered in lots of lightly cooked, very strong red onions that tasted awful. They call them marinated onions on the menu, but these were not marinated. Just onions. Asked for extra cheese on the tacos because the menu said they came with monterrey jack cheese and they were served with no cheese. Tacos de pescado: Poor. One of the tacos had no fish at all and the other one had a piece no bigger than my pinky finger. These were covered with shredded cabbage and lots of the onions described above. Just a poorly made item that was very disappointing.

We went a couple weeks ago on a wednesday. The resturant has a nice dinning area and a bar area. We were sat in the bar area which was fine. Halfway into our appitizers, the hostess came up and asked us if we could move since a party of 8 was.coming in. Okay, fine whatever. What got me was what she said next and i quote "i will help YOU carry your plates and silverware. I was upset. If she wanted me to move so badly she can move that stuff herself not to mention i had my cane with me. Second thing is, they got drink orders wrong and the guac had the stem bits in it and they were hard and almost chocked. We finished and were leaving and i noticed an entire empty area for dinning and it puzzles me as to why we had to move for a party of 8 when there was plenty of room there. I will definity not go back until the management changes. I was disgusted.

Initial presentation is amazing, but sadly it is a horrible let down. Their childrens menu has more variety than their main menu, if all the times Ive been there; all times the meats in the meal were over cooked and dry, and the mild salsa taste as if they just smashed pico de gallo until it was the right consistency. Which in my opinion lift me feeling as if I was dipping my chip in mashed vegetables in vinegar. The atmosphere is great, the service is great, and my party had a great time. Though sadly the great time was laughing at the food. Cantina Laredo has great potential, but tragically falls short in to a huge over priced mess. The bar is fantastic, best feature the place has to offer.

Here is the good: The server was pretty, well dressed, attentive, and friendly. They had clean bathrooms. Now the bad: the food is extremely overpriced and the quality is terrible. The queso was velvita cheese with rotel chilies. The enchaladas were not appealing at all. They dumped cilantro over the entire plate. Finally, the fajiatas were o.k. But its not something that couldnt be made at a mexican resturant for half the price. I will not eat there again.

The food was okay. They brought this green rice with my enchiladas that was disgusting, couldnt even eat it. Wife didnt like it either. The service is what was really awful. Just incredibly slow. By the time we were seated to the time we left 1hr 10minutes for just lunch, no appetizers, no deserts, no alcohol. Didnt have silverware, took almost 5 minutes after food arrived for server to get us some.

I was taken to Cantina Laredo last Saturday for a birthday lunch and had never been to this restaurant. My girlfriend and I were a little lost as to what to order. Our waiter, JP, was not only helpful but recommended just what we needed. Our service was great and the flan we shared at the end was wonderful. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Theres a reason this was the only place in the mall without a line on a Saturday night. While the restaurant is clean and the staff is pleasant, the wait for food that clearly took a minute to assembe in a 1/3 empty restaurant was over half an hour and pretty disappointing. We paid in cash to avoid the inevitable wait to get a card processed.

Love this franchise. Their chips & salsa raise the bar!! Impressive cocktails, waitstaff has came a long way, since theyve opened; they always know the changing menu and make excellent suggestions. Sometimes they have $5 margarita specials... cant beat that. Skip Pappa Gallos in Fayetteville & just come straight here.

Ive eaten here a few times with my Wife and we werent impressed. Tacos have been consistently greasy, dripping all over the plate and table greasy. It doesnt taste bad but its not that enjoyable to eat food like that. The guacamole was pretty good and encourage people to get that.
