Sometimes its hard for me to try new businesses because of experiences like this. Our regular Turkish food establishment did not have fish on the day we wanted to order, so we decided to try a new place. We ordered three entrees with the idea that wed be getting a full meal. I was WRONG. We each received a whole cooked fish in a large aluminum container with vegetables and a smallish side salad. When I say vegetables, I mean one sliver of green pepper, one sliver of half cooked onion and a half a lemon which was apparently grilled, thus evaporating any of the juice which one would normally squeeze onto the fish. NO RICE. NO BREAD. NO SAUCE. Just a char-grilled whole fish with practically nothing else. FOR $60.00 dollars, people. This is a meal? I think not. I have never in my life encountered this kind of strangeness. ok, ok. Two stars because the fish WAS good. But hardly a satisfying meal. So we called them up asked asked for an explanation, after about a 10 minute (difficult) conversation, they asked us to text a photo of the meal, which I did. They replied that we would get $60.00 worth of free food. I said, ok that is very gracious of you, how do we redeem this? "Just call me before you arrive" Um. How about just a refund? I am a little afraid of kitchen retaliation.

The place is amazing, food is always fresh, friendly people, prices are right!!!!!! I dont know where these 2 clowns came up from.(Michael Kiriakos) and ( Rick Moussa.) Most likely they never been to this place. If you look them up, both of them only have 1 review. Which is for this restaurant. Looks like they just cant handle a competition. They register fake name and give negative reviews to good places. Google should not allowed these fags to do that. This is sad :-(

I HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL DINNING EXPERIENCE AT THE CIRAGAN PALACE THIS THURSDAY. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND FOOD CAME TO THE TABLE WITH AROMA OF I CANT EXPLAIN. ALL I CAN SAY IT WAS FANTASTIC ! WE HAD APPETIZERS AND A MAIN COURSEALSO WITH DESSERT TOO! PEOPLE OF STATEN ISLAND YOU GOT TO GET TO THE CIRAGAN PALACE. THE LAMB SKEWERS AND CHICKEN KABOBS WITH TURKISH BREAD WAS OH MY GOD. PLUS WITH THE VARIOUS SAUCES AND SPICES. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN SOON!

Horrible customer service after waiting 1:30 for a lunch delivery the chicken they sent was under cooked. We called and were rudely told that it was fully cooked when it left there store and if we bring it back they will inspect it and only then give me a new sandwich. Manny better places to eat on the island with better customer services.

Found out their "fresh homemade" stuffed grape leaves come from a can, and their "homemade" phyllo dough is frozen bought from Costco. They skimp out like that on the small stuff, imagine the shortcuts theyll take with the meat and fish!

Great lamb gyro. Service a little slow. Lunch specials should be in and out 5 minutes tops. Staff is great and ambiance is relaxing. Worth a visit.
