Where to begin. JUST STARTING OFF WITH A BIG NO FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANNA READ A LONG REVIEW BUT, for your sake just dont go to this chipotle. Throwing your 9 dollars in a trash can would be a more effective use of your money than getting a burrito at this location. Someone contact guinesse because Im sure its a record for the most people working in an establishment without the slightest clue how do to scoop something into a tortilla. There was absolutely no communication between those in the kitchen and those handing the food, so a lot of the things were running out without being refilled. The workers would tell eachother they were almost out of a certain ingredient, but not the kitchen workers. Big problem. This is probably why I got barely any rice or beans. Main issue is the slowness and seemingly lack of any type of awareness to anything going on. The worker doing my salsa and sour cream didnt know which salsas are which (there are only three) and almost gave me three full scoops of sour cream(the most of any ingredient I had received combined). Now to the issue that put the nail in this chipotle coffin.... The burrito wrapper. If you want to go to this chipotle so badly that you cannot be persuaded otherwise, go in with the expectation that youre burrito will not be folded. At all. The girl used two.... TWO tortillas on not just my order, but my boyfriends, even though There was barely anything even in my burrito to require one to be insufficient! I had a very hard time wrapping (too emotionally shattered for that pun to be intended) my head around it and just starred at my food for ten minutes before j tried to eat it. Instantly it came undone and fell into my basket, along with my tears. Mixing around my food there was NOTHING but lettuce and sour cream. 10/10 doctors advice you to stay away from this location If you care about your emotional stability or blood pressure (probably).

The food is amazingly tasty however they are extremely stingy on portions. When you ask for a double steak they give you what would be considered "regular" in any other Chipotle. And when you ask them about it, you get lectured on dietary facts and how much exactly Chipotles portions should weigh and all. I tried this three times to see if it was just that employee but no every single employee in here gives you the same lecture... I believe they were told by the management to give this response when asked about the sizes of their portions. When you tell them that no Chipotle serves this small, they tell you right out that those Chipotles not following instructions then. Well they should really think why other Chipotles are doing what they are doing. Also the prices in this Chipotle are very high. Islanders used to go to NJ to eat Chipotle and pay a hefty toll. We were all very happy to see that we wouldnt have to pay extra toll now that they opened. Well unfortunately they add the cost of the bridge to your order with their ridiculously high prices... I still have hope for this place. But if they continue with what they have been doing, they wont last long. When they first opened they had long lines, now the place is mostly empty and islanders are rather going to their regular Chipotles in NJ or Brooklyn...

I sent my oldest son and two younger daughters to pick up lunch today. Upon his return, I knew immediately something was wrong. Evidently, a young girl with green hair and a very nasty attitude was one of the people who prepared his food. Not only was she condescending but she was extremely rude/nasty. He asked for my lunch to be prepared a certain way and her answer was a very nasty harsh response "wrong resturant." My son is a gentleman to a fault. Rather than complain, he accepted her treatment and continued on his way. When I opened my bowl to discover a quarter cup of lettuce, a few pieces of tomato and a tablespoon of grilled chicken. The whole bowl probably equaled a cup of food all for 8 dollars and change. A total RIP OFF. Needless to say, I was incensed and took the 15 minute ride back to Chipotle to complain. I asked for a manager; what a mistske that was. Manager was just as condescending/unprofessional as the help. Granted I was compensated with a full bowl but i didnt appreciate the attitude so unnecessary. If you dont like your job and do not like people, get ANOTHER job. STAY AWAY...GO TO MOES INSTEAD - WHERE THE STAFF IS WELCOMING/RESPECTFUL!!!!

Chipotle is fast food, granted, but the workers here at Hylan take this to another level. The young man preparing my food was super rude. Didnt look at me once, was finishing another order as he was yelling at me from across the room asking me what I wanted. He prepared my bowl in such a way that Id only gotten a small scoop (if that) of anything Id ordered. I enjoy Chipotle very much, and have never had this issue at another location, so Im extremely disappointed with this. There was no line, and I was very courteous, so there was no reason for him to rush. Definitely ruined my night to pay that price for merely half a bowl.

Just had Staten Island chipotle for the first time opposed from the Menlo park mall one. Now the quality of the food was fine but the portions were very upsetting. I get the same thing at Menlo and its stacked with meat cheese all the good stuff. My burrito today was small cheap and only a few peices of meat. Was very disappointed and I recommend to anyone on the island to just take the 15 minute drive to Menlo unless you want a lettuce and cheese burrito with two peices of meat.

Its a Chipotle, theyre all pretty much the same but this one is relatively new to Staten Island. In my experience, they dont give you as much meat as other chains but its not that big of a deal because its usually cooked to perfection. Also, staff are a hit or miss when it comes to service/friendliness which I guess I can understand, working in food service can be stressful at times. Either way, its the only Chipotle on the island and the food is always good.

Was excited to find out a Chipotle was opening a few blocks from where I live. Ill let it pass since its the first day, but food was disappointing. Whoever cooked the rice added way too much water. Majority of the chips in my bag were stale and uncooked. Hopefully they improve within the next few weeks but for now Id rather travel to the city for Chipotle. Another star for the friendly staff

Im not sure why there are some low stars, but I came here around 1:00 PM during my lunch hour at work. Service is very fast considering it is lunch time and probably the most hectic hours. You see a long line when you get in, but honestly as long as everyone knows what theyre going to order... the line goes by smoothly. So know what you are here for (Hint: huge Burrito lol).

I went in to order my lunch and told them what I wanted. It was the special advertised and what it comes with, but when I told her, she said what do you want on it, how do you want it? Im like I want exactly what it says, why are you asking. In other words the employees are not knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good and the place is clean.
