We live in the area, I got some Pizza in Poughkeepsie and when my dad saw it he decided to order some but didnt want to drive far. My mom mentioned the place in Stanfordville, which he thought had gone out of business. He called them up ordered a medium cheese pie, about $10. It looked ok, really thin crust, not a ton of sauce..., shouldnt be too bad. When comparing it to the pizza I grabbed in Poughkeepsie, its night and day. Im guessing Stanfordville Pizza uses frozen or pre made pies for some orders, as it has the look that pizza gets after being microwaved. I was cold after about 7 minutes, ultra greasy and the cheese had that dimpled microwave look as if the moisture was sucked out of it. Hard, gummy, greasy, too thin with not even the slightest rise in the crust. Regardless of the order all of your pies should be fresh, this was not. The difference was obvious especially having two different slices to compare. Something must have happened very poor quality of late. Spend a little extra on gas and head to a different spot.

I Def know pizza. Im from NYC I lived in Poughkeepsie for 10 years and I just moved to standfordville. This pizza isnt bad. Its very good I like that the crust is thin and just the right amount of cheese and the owner is so nice.

The pizza is quite good. Crust is on the thinner side, although I would not describe as thin, does not overdo it on the cheese and sauce. If you are looking for casual takeout pizza in the Stanfordville area this is your spot.

This place sucks. The guy refused to make our order of six subs, claiming it would take an hour. There are also roaches everywhere - thankfully we didnt get food from here

Do NOT try the garlic knots. There is no garlic & they are just deep fried dough knots with cheese. The food is not all that great either. Also, they only take cash.

WORST FOOD EVER!!!! gave me honey mustered covered with black mold on the top and food is horrible! it was good a few years back but completely changed for the worst!!!

Live across the street. Its really good,try the garlic knots, best around. Jake is right, not a lot of room to eat but its a nice little shop
