Holly cow. How can I leave no stars? I grew up with Pizza and Brew. Moved away 20 years ago and came back this year excited to go to our favorite family joint. Called ahead and let them know 30 of our family members would be coming on a WEDNESDAY night. Let them know it would be separate checks by family. Reserved the back room with my cc. Got there and was welcomed by Manny the Manager. He asked how we were paying. I said separate checks by family. He tried to convince me to do one check. I thanked him but refused. We got assigned ONE WAITER. ONE. And i think it was the poor guys first week on the job. Took forever to take our order. No customer service skills. Was hard to even get a glass of water refilled. Some people got their food in 30 minutes, others waited over an hour. Food was subpar and not the family recipes. Chicken was dry. Shrimp parmesan shrimp tasted like they went bad. Coffee and dessert were good. Then the guy brought us the check...yes, ONE check. When I asked him to split it he looked like a deer in headlights. I asked to talk to Manny but he was hiding. We had a $1000 bill-would have thought wed get even just basic service. Split it up the bill myself and then he overcharged my credit card $100!!! It was great to be with family but this place is nothing like it was in its heyday. Mr. Racanelli would be humiliated at the non-service and blah food. Should have left Pizza & Brew in my memories. They lost a lot of long time customers with this new revamp. Someone needs to step in and train their crew how to run a restaurant. Hate to leave ugly reviews but this place is pathetic now. Racanellis---WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!

This has become a terrible place ever since management change several years ago which led to a complete change and renovation. It was a family business with a couple of different branch locations in Westchester and my family used to love coming here. When relatives and friends visited this was our go-to place, too. For catering parties we used them many holidays and birthday parties in the past as well. But unfortunately, after the father passed, one of the son took over this location and "transformed" it into HIS dream restaurant. The food is changed (chef went to the Greenburg pizza and brew location and thats where I am going now!), in regards to taste it doesnt have that old school authentic Italian flavor, What travesty. Next, portion size is also now so tiny that Im still hungry afterwards and Im not even a person of large statue. Servers are slow to respond, nasty and snotty. They can definitely use a customer service training class from one of those high end Manhattan restaurants. Price has doubled, enough said about that since I am still hungry after paying the much higher price now! Lastly, My kids grew up in this restaurant and they LOVED SITTING INSIDE THE TRAIN to have their dinner. Now THE TRAIN IS GONE! And with it my childrens childhood memory of this once wonderful homey place to have Saturday family dinner and Sunday brunch. What Horror!

Overall, the experience here was pretty good. It was a Saturday night, so there was a bit of a wait. I didnt think we were waiting very long, but the hostesses did, so they got us free drinks from the bar. I cant speak for the other waiters, but ours was incredibly friendly and kept checking up on us and asking if we needed anything. He was the type of waiter who would have a small conversation with you, which I really enjoy. The food was pretty good. I personally didnt care for the pizza, but my boyfriend loved it. I got the special of the day, and the pasta was cooked to my liking and overall was very tasty. The decor I felt was very nice; there was always some decoration or lighting piece that you could look at. It had a sort of rustic feel, but nothing felt old or tacky. My only real complaint would be that it was a bit loud in there. The music wasnt bad, it was just a bit loud and I guess in turn made everyone speak louder to be heard. There were even speakers in the bathroom, which I felt was a bit dark for my taste, however it was very clean. In the end, I would recommend Racanellis, and would definitely go there again.

Wow. Just an AWFUL experience. We went there for lunch for 12 people after making reservations three days earlier. We got there and were told there was a wedding taking place (which is kind of like having a wedding at McDonalds) and the place was closed for this event. We asked the clueless girl up front to get us a manager. Finally after standing outside long enough, my husband went inside to find a bunch of staff standing around while we were ignored. And the "manager" came up and said "I dont know who made the reservation, but there is nothing we can do." No apology, nothing. Must have been her first day on the job. Clueless, unprofessional staff. Heard the food is terrible too. I will NEVER go there. I was so embarrassed. We went to Fridays and my mother in law had a great lunch. Too bad Racanellis almost ruined it. Save your money. This place has terrible reviews. I only wish I had heeded the warning with all the other bad reviews.

Love this place! All staff (well most) are kind, patient, and professional. The waiters check on you frequently but not overbearing. All their food we ordered was fresh and delicious!!! The restaurant is kept clean and the restrooms. Nice music. Nice ambiance. Overall great place to eat with friends and family. We just found out they deliver!....were going to try to order for a delivery :) ......a few days later....... we ordered food for delivery - food came on time. Food was cold! Soup had no broth in it. Shouldve asked for utensils bc they didnt send them. Also, they didnt send bread with butter with the 50$ order. A bit disappointed with their delivery service. In addition, the delivery guy didnt have change on him?!?!

We had a party of 8 for the Sunday Brunch Buffet, the choices were excellent, there was french toast, coconut pancakes, nice crispy bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, penne vodka, chicken francais, cold cuts, assorted fruits, cookies, cannolis, unlimited belinis & mimosas for an added $10 to the price $17.95 per person, the hot food was hot, the cold cuts & fresh fruits were separated from the hot food, the wait staff was VERY attentive, VERY pleasant, this place is family friendly for a nice Sunday brunch, I would highly recommend it to spend family time together

Food is OK, but if you are looking for Coors Light never go there. I know it sounds petty but, I have been there 5 times in the last 2 months and every single time they have and excuse about not having Coors Light. We just ran out, the keg is empty, the tap isnt working. And too make it harder to give anymore stars the service was very suspect. We had a stack of 5 dirty dishes and a bread basket on our small table for the entire meal. The waitress definitely had that "I wish wasnt here" attitude. The food is consistent and most of the staff is good. I guess we just have bad luck.
