This is my second time that i have been to this place and the reason i wanted to try it out is because i had a groupon. Let me tell you, this place is to die for. The first time i ate here i ordered the chicken poutine sandwich and it was innovative and done to perfection. It was something that i have never eaten or seen before. The second time i got the beef on weck and it looked like something that came straight out of a magazine. Everything was organized on the plate in a manner that looked like you were eating at a five star restaurant in a big city. You can tell everything is as fresh as can be, the meat was done to perfection and the bread was the freshest it could be. Another thing that is to die for is the french fries that come with every meal, you wont be able to stop eating them. The staff are attentive and some of the friendliest i have ever encountered. I 100% recommend this to everyone, you definitely get what you pay for.

After hearing good things about Bad Apples, I headed in for dinner. The atmosphere is nice, quiet enough for a date, very clean and nicely put together. Then you get to the food, wow... We had a salad with the homemade balsamic dressing, which was delicious and well accompanied by the homemade bread and butters (apple butter was VERY good) . We moved to a risotto croquet served in homemade marinara sauce which was also delicious. After hearing the special, I stopped dead and ordered it, a 14oz Strip Steak with a blue cheese crust, served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I ordered medium rare, the temp was perfect, and the flavor was just unreal. This is one of if not the best steaks I have ever enjoyed. There was a nice selection of wine to compliment the food as well which we were very happy with. The prices were in line for quality food and I cant wait to go back.

Second trip, just cant be comfortable with the food here. The dishes are either trying too hard or the flavors just dont mesh well. Last meal was a piece of pork (slightly overcooked) with sauteed onions on top that had too much garlic in them. That was placed over mustard smashed potatoes that had far too much whole grain mustard mixed in. On the side was a avocado/tomato salad with far too much lime juice in it. Everything stood too far out from each other, as if random things were just tossed on a plate. Tough to have that come out when its prices are equal to established places such as 2Vine, etc. Unfortunately I dont think Ill be back, hope to see them flourish though in the Spencerport environment.

Such a wonderful experience dining here! I brought my two year old daughter here as we had a certificate to use and I have been practicing appropriate dining skills while we are out. I told the waitress this, she was so friendly and accommodating! My daughter had a good time and the food was perfect! I had a meatball sandwich while my daughter enjoyed her favorite chicken and fries! It tasted like gourmet food and was very inexpensive for the quality! I was so impressed and will be returning. The atmosphere of the restaurant is ideal for anyone, if you have a family you could bring them! If you are on date, I would come here. Great food, excellent service, and all of the staff are friendly!

I have never been here so I cannot rate the dining or food experience however I just called them and spoke to a very friendly and helpful young lady named Solomiya. She helped me order a gift card for family who live in the area and she was very pleasant and helpful. I wish I was the one going to Bad Apples Bistro and getting the gift card but alas Im in Utah! Outstanding customer service from 3,000 miles away! Indicates to me that customer service is high on their list of prioritys! Well Done Solomiya!!!

Ive been wanting to go to Bad Apples Bistro for some time and was not disappointed. My husband and I had Monkfish wrapped with prosciutto served with a side of fingerling potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms. We were there early and realized we had the last two orders after the server erased it from the board. It was delicious and a very good combination. The service was top notch. The prices reflect the quality of the food, preparation, and service. We will definitely go again.

Great food, Great service. Was there with a large party. As someone who has been a Chef for many years I must say WOW! Each course came with unique attention to detail as well as an amazing marriage of ingredients. Large groups can be a challenge, but the service could not have been more attentive. Thank you so much, I will be back & will recommend without hesitation.

Easily the best restaurant on the west side. Excellent food that is on par with the very best of Rochester. I rank the food right up there with what Tournedos and Rooneys has to offer in the city but its at a lower price. The staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to make your experience a great one.

I was left with an overwhelming sense of MEH upon having lunch here. The prices were higher than I find comfortable at lunch, and the food tasted good but felt insubstantial. I suppose this is a great place for hipsters and cultured folks who enjoy wine and fancy named greens, but I dont recommend it for farmers.

The seasonal menus and fresh ingredients make every dining experience at Bad Apples top notch and the wine specials never disappoint. They have the best Friday fish fry EVER and its very reasonably priced. And if youve never tried one of their wine pairing dinners, definitely get on the mailing list and try one.

Bad Apples is my favorite restaurant in Rochester! I love the fact that they change their menu with the seasons and we have been there maybe a dozen times and the experience and food has been nothing but outstanding each and every time. And of course I love that it is a local business in my community too!

Heard it was awesome.....It was NOT! Strangest dinner I ever had. People are definitely on some organic something. I want to eat a meal....not look at its design on my plate and having NO IDEA what the heck Im eating. sorry guys but it was the pits and the saddest $65.00 I ever spent.

Lunch here was pretty okay. Id rather go here than a chain. I had a nice aandwich, my partner had the beet salad which looked lovely and my friend had the carbanara pizza. Everything was good. Service was fine. I didnt love the crowd but what can you do at lunch mid week.

Fantastic food, excellent service RIDICULOUSLY high prices. I absolutely loved eating there, but I seriously doubt Ill ever go back. I cant justify spending that much for a meal- especially when I can get a good dinner for literally half the cost elsewhere.

Ive now been to Bad Apples half a dozen times and the food is always phenomenal! I would recommend trying to get a seat a little further back in the restaurant as space is limited and being near the front or near the kitchen can mean a bit of extra traffic.
