My friend & I ordered a Spinach Chef salad on a Sunday lunchtime. The place was more than half empty. That should have been a clue. 15 minutes later, Im told theyre out of Spinach. Just iceberg lettuce and romaine. We both asked for all romaine. When it finally arrives, she gets all the green parts and I get nothing but the yellow parts, plus not one, but THREE inedible cores. As there was no other vegetable, we both asked for some tomato. And we were each given two tiny pieces of tomato of less than 1 inch each, along with a carrot shaving in a little salad dressing bowl. Coffee was watery-weak. Glad I live no where near this place.

What ever happened to the home made potatoe salad and macaroni salads you made when you first opened ?Now they are watery and taste like they came out of a 10 Gallon pail.Can even see that the chicken salad is now bought in bulk and no longer freshly made.Sorry but we no longeg will be coming there.Try getting waitresses that give immediate service instead of talking non stop to each other

Ive never been to Saugerties. We were driving around looking for a parking spot at one of the local restaurants. It was very busy, decided to eat at the Village Diner. I first thought we might be settling. WOW was I wrong. Staff was very nice, the food was amazing and the portions HUGE! You will not be disappointed here. Any return to this area I will surely visit the VILLAGE DINER!

Great diner, best Ive been to five stars for the diner. Owner is awesome. My only complaint is one male waiter that is rude to the elderly, he should get another job like prison guard. Stay away from the male waiter with earrings zero stars for him.

Absolutely love "The Village" (as we call it). I have most certainly always enjoyed myself there. The food is good---too good! Their prices are great, and the service deserves an A+. This is a local favorite loved by the whole family. Try it out!

The Cubano panini was amazing! The kids loved their French fries and our server brought them coloring books and crayons to keep them occupied. Highly recommended!
