This place has a lot of potential; However one of the managers gave me a bad vibe. Hes roughly in his late 20s and I believe he introduced himself as Adam. My friend and I went the other weekend at night before going home and since the moment we stepped in the restaurant he stared her down head from toe. Constantly coming back to our table checking in on us which was nice service wise but he kept eyeing her up. It made her feel extremely uncomfortable. Looking into this I found out many employees have told me this guy acts very creepy and tries to get awkwardly close to the younger female workers. From what I have heard this guy needs to be stopped or at least talked to. So everyone please watch out. Youll never see us going to this restaurant again as long as this guy is working. Stay safe everybody. - Anonymous

service w good. food ok. but $2.63 for a soda? Next time Ill drink water. the cost of the soda was fully one third of the cost of my food!! Had to park way in the back and tried to get in via the doors on the right. The doors are locked that lead to the "patio". As a person with a disability this was difficult to say the least!. Another customer tried to open the doors for me and they were locked from the inside. This has to be a safety issue for a diner that seats so many people. the few exit doors could not possibly handle everyone in a serious situation.

My experience with Daily Planet Diner are usually wonderful! Today I had a Veronica Club! I would rate it a 5 out of 10 today! I wanted rare beef, did not get that and the lettuce was old with brown marks all over! I took it off the sandwich and couldnt eat it. I have never had this in a Sandwich before! Your Manager blamed the lights on the warmer waiting for pick! I dont think that was the problem. The lettuce was old! I may have to think twice before ordering a sandwich with lettuce again!! Very dissatisfied today!

Ive been dining here for fifteen years. Over time they have gotten cheaper and cheaper, nickel and diming customers for every menu item. Want a burger? Fries are two dollars extra. Omelet? Cheese is a dollar more. Want a straw for your drink? You get one that barely clears the top of the glass. That change is new. A couple of months ago I got an actual straw. Theyre also lax about refilling drinks. There are better value diners in the area that give you more for the same money. Go to Acropolis or Dutchess Diner instead.

Extremely varied menu, something for everyone. On busy days, you do not have to wait long for a table. They keep things moving smoothly. All wait staff has been gracious, helpful, willing to go the extra mile if needed. Service is excellent. They have daily specials. Food is fresh, cooked to order. Love their salads! This diner/restaurant is decorated differently than other places. Visually appealing. Prices are reasonable.

The turkey burger was very good and the server was friendly and professional -- BUT having to wait over five minutes just to be recognized by the oblivious hostesses (two or three robots drifting aimlessly) almost turned me back around and out the door. Get the front of the house some training and basic diningroom etiquette! The decor is gaudy (OK) and in need of cleaning, and it is indeed quite noisy, even on a Sunday afternoon.

Me and my family ordered a large meal for the first time and I would never eat there again. The chicken tenders were UNSEASONED, it tasted like they put a pinch of salt on the chicken and then fried it. The fries tasted like it came straight out of a bag. Everything was dry and bland with no flavor and coming from a black family Im used to flavorful food. #sorrynotsorry

The atmosphere is so cute here! Each area of the diner is a different decade and decorations as well as tv shows they play. The food is a generous size like many diners and really good. the quality of service along with food makes this a great choice to eat any meal! I cant wait to wear my t-shirt to this place and enjoy it!

Convenient location if youre traveling on the Taconic to or from NYC/Long Island, as I do very often. Havent been disappointed by anything Ive had there, and neither have all the friends Ive brought back with me. Amazing hot cocoa, and hot wings! Service is always friendly, too.

This place has great selection of food ranging from simple diner foods to gourmet presentations and tastes. I love the memorabilia on the walls from the 1940s to the 1970s. If you were a TV buff during those years, youll enjoy the decor. Zaggat rated.

I have been going here since I could remember. Service is usually great. Large portions and fair prices for the area. The only downside is that it can get pretty busy causing the service to slow a bit. Other than the food is excellent.

This is pretty much the only diner I will goto. Have turned on several friends whom have heard of it. Also I have bought their italian pastries, felt like I was back in the city, they were good.

This place has a big menu. It is more than a cut above the average diner. I love having a juke box right at each table. We treat ourselves to a meal there when things are special.

Great stop on our way to Saratoga Springs. The French toast supreme was excellent! Our server had been there for 18 years. All around good food and service at a great price!

My 5 an 7 year old daughters love this place. Anther classic Hudson Valley dinner decorated with TV and pop culture from the 20th century. Great deserts and good food.

The food was only "meh" . The server was friendly and tried very hard but was ultimately disorganized and disappointing. We waited more than 40 minutes for the entrees.

Right off the Taconic State Parkway, this is a great place to stop in and get a quick delicious meal. The menu items have an old school theme and they have a full bar.

Friendly, efficient service. Nice atmosphere. Good, well prepared food. Almost forgot the pastries. We picked up some to bring home and they were phenomenal.

Ive consistently loved this diner! Not only are the waiters and waitresses kind and spunky, but the food is well priced for what you get and tastes delicious.

Have not been here for a while but I must say that the waiter, Lorenzo, was absolutely fantastic. Food was also very good and the prices were reasonable.

Portions are large but the food is bland, zero taste. Staff is friendly, facility is clean, good open parking lot, easy access to major highway.
