This is the worst diner Ive ever been to. I had dinner there a while back and wasnt thrilled, but I decided to give it another shot today for lunch. Big mistake. First, they were out of about half of everything on the menu. When we finally found things we could order, the waiter kept forgetting what we wanted and had to keep coming back to ask us. My dad ordered an omelet and toast, mom ordered a steak and hubby and I split buffalo wings and potato skins. The wings and skins arrived about 10 minutes before everything else did - because the waiter was pacing around the diner on his cell phone! When he finally delivered the rest of the food, he forgot what kind of toast dad ordered. Took him another 10 minutes to get the toast and the omelet was half eaten by then. They were out of bleu cheese dressing, so he offered us creamy Italian for the wings (?!?!) - they were terrible anyway. The steak was completely inedible - tough and totally overdone. When he asked if everything was ok, mom told him the steak was bad and his response was "oh. really." And then he just walked away. The inside of my soda glass had oily, white stuff in it. Lastly, one waitress was refilling all the ketchup and salt/pepper/sugar containers. So she kept interuppting us to switch these things out. As she was doing this, she kept picking her nose. And another waitress was vacuuming the whole time we were there, and the entire staff was having conversations with each other from opposite sides of the diner (yelling to each other) so we couldnt even talk amongst ourselves. As compensation for the inedible steak, they comped our sodas. Needless to say, we will not return.

Ive been staying in the Westchester Medical Center for a while. I got tired of being ripped off by Au Bon Pain and tired of eating garbage from the cafeteria. I decided to go for a drive and find a nice-looking diner. Executive Diner certainly looked nice (inside and out), but no matter how many mirrors they stuff into the joint, they will have to eventually have to face the fact that their food and service are less than lackluster. The food was lousy and expensive (they somehow managed to make the worst salad I have ever tasted). The service was so bad that the wife and I waited for 30 minutes just for someone to take our order, and another 30 to get our food. When asked how everything was, I told them that they gave me one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had, to which they responded with apathy. Dont bother.

I guess I shouldnt have expected much from a diner across from a Comfort Inn, but I disagree with may of the reviewers. Heres what I found when I ordered the Broiled Shrimp with Bacon: -Rather than the Rice Pilaf advertised, I got 2 rolls. Theyd been microwaved so long that they turned into rocks after 5 minutes -The lettuce was browned and the spinach tossed throughout had brown mushy spots. -The shrimp had been cooked so long that the they had turned to hard rubber -The mixed vegetables were soggy and flavorless -The mashed potatoes were the only redeeming quality The food was passably edible but Im definitely going to the Applebees next door for my next meal.

One time I decided to sit and eat on my lunch break they serve me a burnt gyro I ask for another one they would not give it to me. Second time I go in order just a regular like side of mac and cheese and chicken tenders the mac and cheese was served in this ridiculous container it was burned once more and my chicken tenders were about 6 pieces and somehow my bill came up to $21.63 how does that work! The last straw was actually going to pick up something to go an the manager wouldnt even take my order and told me to find a waiter. their waiters are walking aoru6nd and ignoring me and I waited 5 minutes! that wathe last straw and never going to eat there again

This place use to have good food, good service, now it seems like a whole in the wall. Im not a regular there but I do go there from time to time, but I think the last time was actually the last. We waited 15 minutes to be waited on. There was literally only three other tables there. The waitress seemed upset when we were only ordering desserts. I ordered a napoleon and it was chewy and stale. The cream was not creamy. Out of 5 of us only one finished their dessert, which was a root beer float. We ordered dinner to go, it came with rice pudding for dessert, which was sour. What in the world! Start making changes!

The pork chops taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill, I had to send it back and order something else. I dont think the manager like me sending it back. My granddaughter had a long black thin hair in her food. The cashier who I believe was the manager was not very friendly and give a very ugly word to our family as we were walking out. He didnt know I heard him and I asked him," what he said, he said he was talking to himself. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I only reason I gave 2 stars, the server was kind and treated my 76yr old mom very nice.

The place is incredibly a DUMP as far as service is concerned. I visited this place on August 15, 2012. Was in a great mood and was seated "secluded" from everyone else.... I like that.... HOWEVER, when I ordered my food...and the food came it was NOT what I ordered and I sent it back. The waiter had no apology, nor even asked if I wanted anything else... he just THREW MY CHECK on the table and walked away. Needless to say i was disgusted and frustrated. I left and I WONT SPEND ANY MONEY THERE.... this diner should be out of business.

Just had a great meal there yesterday. Gyro w/greek salad was very good. Two others had broiled bluefish, dont always see bluefish offered at a diner. Great matzo ball soup, cheerfully and very quickly made very hot at our request (person likes their soup burning hot), salads very fresh, sides were tasty and the bluefish done plainly was good and fresh. Service has always been quick and efficient. Been stopping into this place on occasion over 30+ years and have always found it at least decent w/fast service. Old time diner atmosphere.

The service was incredibly slow considering how empty the place was. The food was mediocre, nothing extraordinary or special. The waitress combined our check with another tables order and we almost paid for the entire check by mistake because we were in such a rush to get out of there. We were given attitude and felt very unwelcome there. They never came by to check up on us to see how we were doing or if our food was okay. I wont be returning.

Horrible service. Food was ehh, and not worth the cost. Waitress did not speak English. I told the manager the dining experience was not good and he said hmm and ran my credit card. No apology. Not a word. Not sure he spoke English either. Will NEVER stop here again and would advise anyone else to keep on driving! Side note... the bathrooms were also disgusting!

Horrible place! You get NO bang for your buck whatsoever! The service and food were mediocre. The kids menu is 7.95. My daughter ordered Mac and cheese. She got hardly nothing and was still hungry afterwards. They only give a drink with the kids meal; no fruit, no dessert, NOTHING! Very bad experience. Will never go back there again!!!
