Was looking forward to a nice dinner, made reservations and the girl was very accommodating. Arrived early and they seated us immediately. It took a while for someone to come and take our drink order, but when she dis she took our appetizerorder too! We waited thirty mins for our drinks, and it took another thirty minutes to order dinner. Appetizers were good, dinner appeared good and would have been less the hair in the duck. When brought to the servers attention, she took the hair and offered a free desert, when she couldnt finish her dinner!!!! We spoke to someone else who was helpful. Our server whose name I didnt get, was the worst!!!

Appetizers good (shrimp Shumai and pork Gyoza), but ramen is atrocious for the price, and needless to say pales compared to the pictures in their online menu. Soft boiled egg (as listed on the menu) is way over hard boiled, broth thin and lacks seasoning, shrimp overcooked and scallops in pieces in seafood ramen...everything lackluster and colorless. I told the waitress (who was very sweet) to have them look into Kens Ramen in Providence, RI. There, you get your $15 worth of ramen.

We were 6 friends for lunch at the place. The location/decor was good. Being vegetarian I could not enjoy much and my other vegetarian friend also did not like it. But other friends who had non-veg dishes they likes it. Finally, Japanese food has a different taste which has to be developed to like it. Overall experience was OK, but we decided not to go there for lunch again, as 2 out of 6 members did not like it (being vegetarian).

No spaghetti on a first date here, classy all the way. Though I would recommend washing your hands before they give you that warm Jasmine scented hand cloth thing. Its embarrassing when it becomes an unsavory tint of: "I didnt wash my hands just now when I used the facility." Not even rubbing the cloth lightly to your hands works to conceal this, that Jasmine has a Midas touch. There wasnt a second date :)

My family of five (7, 13 and 15YO kids), who visited Japan last year, thoroughly enjoyed our mid-day lunch feast here. The Hibachi and takitori was devoured, and my sushi-loving (but picky) daughter said the sushi was just as good as in Japan. I ate our leftover sushi the next day, and it was still darned good. My daughter is still perturbed with me for finishing hers.

Mediocre at best. More of an Asian restaurant that serves some Japanese dishes than a true Japanese restaurant. Has a cheap Asian lounge atmosphere. Prices for nigiri are for a single serving, unlike the traditional two servings of most proper Japanese restaurants.

Hands down..the BEST, FRESHEST, sushi in the capital district! Also their "Special Rolls" are awesome. My favorites: the "American Dream", and the "Red Bull". If you havent been here, and you appreciate quality sushi, you need to check this place out.

Their Duck Salad is to die for! I want more! Its the best Japanese Cuisine Ive ever been to. Even better than Kotos, which has always been my favorite. Went there on New Years Eve, Highly recommend it.

Their Hibachi Salmon is TERRIFIC! I was very very pleased with it. The service is fantastic. They are very friendly and considerate of the customer. I would most definitely recommend this place! :).

Happy hour deals are great, especially on weekends when you can sit at the bar and get sushi, drinks, and other menu items for less all day. Sushi is average but worth it for the price.

Best sushi in saratoga. Like a slice of Manhatten in upstate ny. Outside doesnt look like much but indoors is very nice. Dishes are reasonably priced for what you get.
