The food was excellent. The hibachi chef, Jay, was friendly and entertaining. Thats all the good I have to say about this place. The service was lousy. I was given an extremely water downed lemonade. I asked for another and I was given a much better handmade lemonade but when I was finished, the waitress never came back for a refill for the whole night or remove my finished plates. Surely she wasnt that busy since we were the first ones there with no else to cater to. Our waitress was more of a memory than an actual person since she was absent most of the time. We did have a waiter who catered to my wife attentively. Her took her plates, smiled at her, refilled her drinks, and provided all around excellent service while he denied my existence, not even making eye contact with me once. He made sure she enjoyed herself while Im over here waiting for the same level of service from him or anyone. We still gave the 15% tip, but if I could, I would have voted it goes to the hibachi chef. Interesting enough, our mythical waitress suddenly appeared out of the shadows when we asked for a check with a smile on her face. Im never coming back and would make sure anyone I know does not come here either.

Went there for my daughters birthday. When I asked her where she wanted to go this was the place. She had been with her mother a while back and raved about it. I had not been for hibachi since I was in my teens. Everything about our experience was excellent! The service was great. Our chef, named "Two" was fun, interactive, and the food was just fantastic. After we ate they came out banging a drum and sang to my daughter for her birthday and she got fried ice cream for free! It was definitely pricey, $40 for one adult and one kid, with no alcohol, but to be fair the overall quality of everything made it completely worthwhile and we both got a ton of food. We will definitely be back. Something to note... I made reservations and if you want hibachi, especially on the weekends, you should too. We went on a Saturday night with reservations at 5:30. By the time we got there at 5:10 hibachi was already booked until 8:30. I will say that once we were there we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated and we were done with dinner and out the door by 6:10.

A group of my friends and I went to Kobe this past Saturday, 4/20/2013 for dinner. My food was great. We each ordered at least two things a piece. Three of my friends got the shrimp tempura. They were not pleased on the presentation and the taste so they sent it back. The manager then brought back the food and pretty much told them they ordered it so they had to take it. Two of my friends ate the food any way the third friend didnt like it so she set the food to the side to give back. The waitress avoided us so we flagged her down and sent back the unwanted food. We finished eating and asked for the checks. They then brought back the unwanted food and told us that they would not take it off the order that she had to pay for it regardless if she ate it or not. This is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The restaurant was lucky she was nice cause I would of refused to pay for something I did not eat none the less like. None of us will be back. The food maybe good but the quality of customer service was lacking.

We love Hibachi restaurants and when Kobe opened we were very excited. We went on a Sunday to celebrate a birthday. I forgot to make a reservation so we didnt get to sit at the fun tables with the chef flinging rice. But, we were still able to order hibachi and it was wonderful. There is plenty of rice, veggies and noodles. The meat is perfectly cooked. My husband had Beef Negimaki and loved the serving size and how the beef with surrounding green onions was very tasty and satisfying. What is great about Kobe is that they do much more than hibachi. There is sushi and a large menu offering.

Food good. However, they rush you through dinner to get you out and this has happened more than once and I have had it. I brought out of town guests there for hibachi. Before you are half way through dinner, they are bringing to go boxes and asking if you are ready. Then 5 different employees, including owner is asking if you need anything else (hint = to leave). Finally, we are asked to take it to the bar. All in all, we were there 45 minutes. One of my guests said to the last person, if we wanted fast food, we would have gone elsewhere, at which she was told not to go back then.

I usually love this place, but I am never going back after this weekend. We had a party of 18 there on Saturday and they were going around doing Saki shots. I told our cook AT LEAST 8 times that I did not want one. He proceeded to squirt 2 bottles of Saki ALL over me. My shirt, pants and hair were soaking wet. I had to sit through the rest of the night all wet. It ruined the rest of my night. The cook then said "Oh you didnt think that was funny?" I am never going back.

We love it here because of the food! Its just that simple! We love their yum yum sauce and just tried a new sushi roll called the "Greece Roll" with shrimp, lobster, and snow crab with a chef sauce. Can you say absolutely amazing! I wish we would of at least gotten two more rolls to be honest. We sat in the dine in side but our girls love to go here for their birthdays and sit on the hibachi side which they love. Best hibachi in town I think. You wont be disappointed!

Average sushi bar. I usually eat here about once a month. The sushi is what you would expect pretty much anywhere else. No complaints about the food quality or service. However, I feel that the menu is slightly overpriced for some of the premier sushi rolls. I enjoy the ambiance and I have never have a bad time here. Not the greatest but far from the worst.

I eat here a lot . Its sad that my diet consists of so much of this restaurants food. To be honest I tried the restaurant over in the mall plaza today and it was horrible compared to Kobe and I just instantly regretted choosing to try thar place but I eat so much Kobe I almost feel embarrassed going in as much as I do. In the end Kobes where its at.

The food was very good quality as were the portions and the preparation. The chef was friendly and very knowledgeable and put on a great show. The waiter should have been working in an office. He was flat the whole time and he had no people skills. A couple drinks and Chicken with scallops was 40 bucks. No more drinking out.....

The waiter was very helpful in helping us navigate the bewildering selection. The sashimi and sushi ( some with tempura, yum!) were amazing. The tea was high quality, with a flavor reminiscent of sesame. The only reason for 4 star is that the hibachi section had a very large and lots party and the acoustics were terrible.
