Its true..If youre a fan of the carvel cakes you must try this place. The original owners of this place used to own a Carvel...Which then the owner changed his location name to "walters" icecream..then shortly after the location moved again(very close by) and changed to what is now called ice cream world...Confusing? I dont even know the full story..BUT i do know that they use the original recipes that the Old guy used! Anyways my family and i love love carvel cakes but of course there isnt any locations left in rochester...so we get them from the grocery store. They still taste like carvel and I thought they were good...Until I tried a icecream cake from this place. WOW..tasting a cake from this place makes you realize just how much carvels cakes (and icecream for that matter) have declined through the years. P.S I dont know why it says this location is in Webster, Its in East Irondequoit..On eastridge Rd.

I wasnt impressed on my last visit. I wanted to try two different kinds of ice cream but because of a "store policy" I had to purchase a large cone. A large cone is 3 scoops so I decided to go with it. This part could have been just as much my error as theirs but I aint reviewing myself so... I tried the chocolate crunch which was a little crumbly. The girl behind the counter put that on top as my third scoop. It didnt turn out to be much of a scoop. Most of it fell either back into the freezer or on the counter between her hand and mine. By the time it reached me it was about 1/4 of the other two scoops, but I still had to pay the "large" cone size. In my opinion, go to Lugias in Spencerport! Their Baby Cone was the size of Ice Cream Worlds Large!! And it costs less!!

Went to the icecream world on October 23 and the older guy with the clown tatoo on his arm was so rude to me and my husband we had to walk out! He refused to giveyou us theyou same thing weve benn getting everyit week from him and other staff members which was icecream layered with peanuts and strawberries .... We are business owners ourselves and that's no way to run a business! We ended up going to Russells where we had a better experience..

Me and my boyfriend went here, there was a puddle of ice cream of the floor he accidently stepped in it, we asked if we could or if someone could rinse off his shoe and they refused! He had to use a ton of napkins to get it off, and i cannot believe the staff how rude they are. Will not be returning, please save yourself the trip.

I was in there recently with my 3year old and 8 year old and the to filthy women serving were swearing right in front of my kids. When I asked them to stop they got mad and would serve us! Disgusting filth!

Great flavors, great service. They also carry lots of ready made ice creams and ice cream cakes. Love that they are open during the winter for us ice cream freaks. Closed on Mondays in winter.

Great store! I went and ordered a pumpkin pie milkshake with hot fudge on it. It was soo good. The customer service was awesome. I will go here again definitely tell my family and friends.
