Café Sasso is your go to spot for specialty crafted coffees and cocktails!!! Living in the neighborhood, I have seen many places come and go from this spot, and this is the best concept yet. I enjoy their outside patio, which is a great spot to people watch along Park Ave. Inside, you are welcomed with this since of feeling that you have never left your living room. All the artwork in this place rotates on a monthly basis, giving you a variety of things to look at each time. There are also a ton of mirrors scattered throughout, which helps to make sure you look good before that pre-date evaluation. The lightening is fantastic to do work in because of the beautiful chandeliers placed on the ceilings. This is one of the only coffee shops where you can get a variety of liquored coffee drinks, beer, and specialty lattes. In fact you can find coffee from all around the world in BULK here to fill in your own coffee pot. Google! Tip- there is a SECRET happy hour from 5-7 PM which offers $5.00 craft cocktails. The employees who work here are some of the best hipsters I have known in the area. The owner does an amazing job of taking that hipster approach, and making it trendy/classy. COFFEE: Peace Train Latte: This was packing with incredible flavor as this mocha latte was infused with blackberry and hazelnut flavors. I love that the baristas take time to design a well-executed heart in the froth of your cup. Google! Tip- sometimes they OD on the froth in your cup, so make sure to ask for a little bit less, youll thank me later. Dirty Vanilla Chai Latte: Now if its not dirty, then it doesnt taste right, and this latte was DIRTY. I love the pronounced spices, and aromas I get within each sip. The vanilla was subtle, and not over-powering making you think you are drinking a Vanilla Wafer. HOT CRAFT COCKTAILS: At work you might not be the boss, but out in the Real World is a completely different story especially as you drink The Big Boss Man cocktail. This is one of the BEST coffee drinks I have ever tried which features Kahlua, Frangelico, Hazelnut, Baileys Irish Crème, Expresso, and FINALLY topped with coffee. What an amazing combination that will have you drunk before 3 PM. SANDWICHES: The Chicken Pesto Panini was packed with ingredients, and tasted extremely fresh. Café Sasso combines a lot of food, with an amazing cheap pricing stand-point, keeping you coming back for more. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and extremely juicy. I loved that this sandwich had ham combined with the pesto and tomato. The pesto was smothered on their perfectly, and complimented the tomatoes. Now, this is neat, in the sandwich they wrap mozzarella cheese around the tomato. All it takes is a little added effort to impress guests a long way, great technique. BAKERY: Case Sasso delivers a wide range of pastries/desserts to go with your coffee order. While not my favorite place to have dessert, there Pistachio Muffins are to die for. I love when the muffins are hot out of the oven first thing in the morning. The pistachio filling inside is extremely delicious, and is like a meal within itself. Overall: BEST HOT Craft Cocktails, The Big Boss Man, The Chicken Pesto Panini, Pistachio Muffins, and the Peace Train Latte...Of Course I Will Be Back.

I am happy to say, after revisiting Cafe Sasso, I couldnt be more delighted and enthusiastic about this business. When it first opened I was rather upset by the interior design at the time. Since then, the owner has brought in really awesome couches and made it a much more homey and trendy atmosphere while ensuring it still holds its unique charm. Not only this, but the dedication of the owner shows. She makes every point to ensure she knows the inside and out of reviews so that she can improve, but also so that she can correct any issues if you had them and uses a collaborative approach to ensure constructive dialogue. She loves her business and treats her staff and customers like they are her own. That is something to be extremely grateful for in a society where many businesses see numbers rather than people. As someone who really liked Boulder at this location, I have to say... I like Sasso much better at this point. The changes and atmosphere have improved greatly, the food and drinks are some of the best around, and honestly it is just a great place. The beautiful thing to me, is that this particular business is the epitome of what it means to be a local business that is not just in a community, but a firm foundation and part of the community. It is rare that I have the opportunity to re-review a business because many people, including my own self at times, resist change. But change can be very positive if we take the time to implement it and if we communicate positively and openly with one another. I am so happy that this place is here on Park Avenue. It is an asset to the neighborhood that shouldnt be taken for granted. Congratulations on a job well done Cafe Sasso!! Thank you for being a friend!!

I have a friend who really likes this place. Im posting for her and paraphrasing while she screams "Thats not what i said! NOOOOOO!" The owners and staff are really friendly, they remember things that happen on a regular basis, such as her showing up and saying her name, they also recognize her face. They also remember each others names. Its a great place to get work done or be creepy. If you use their reusable mugs, coffee is only a dollar! (she really pushed for the punctuation and then jumped for joy, possibly because of the effects of coffee from this place. ) My feelings: I have nothing against this place and do not actively protest it. 5 stars.

I like this place a lot, they have gluten free bread. It is the perfect place for studying and I am absolutely in love now. The only thing I dont like is that they just allowed a dog inside the place and if I werent allergic I would be absolutely thrilled but I am highly allergic to them and am now scared that I may have an attack. It would be much better if they werent allowed inside because now I may have to rush home to get my allergy medication. Hopefully I wont because this is the only time this week I have to study this particular subject all week long. Otherwise an amazing place with a great atmosphere, food, and service.

The old Boulder coffee. Looks the same on the inside. Nice and attentive service, a stellar menu of choices. Since I only go here for coffee and espresso, I cant speak on anything beyond that. My decaf americano was enjoyable. Cafe Sasso is a nice cafe to sit and chat with friends or get some work done if you can tolerate background conversations. Many different seating options, which is nice. Great setup to bring a group of 5+ friends and hang out.

I love going here. I try to walk over here every morning before I head off to work for coffee and/or breakfast. I love the atmosphere of this coffee shop, the staff has always been great and they have an excellent menu. In addition to a variety of coffee type drinks they also have pastries, salads, paninis, bagel sandwiches, etc. In the summer its also nice to be able to take advantage of the outdoor seating. I just wish there was more!
