Finally found a good halal food place in Norwalk!! Went there last week with family and friends and was pleasantly surprised to find that the outlook of the restaurant doesnt do justice to the food served here at all. All the food that we ordered was amazing and delicious. In fact, we ended up over stuffing ourselves... Hahaha!!! It was so good that just two days later we were back for Sunday brunch and glad to say that we were not disappointed with that as well. Even my kid who eats pasta and rice most of the time was enjoying the food (new stuff) :O So all in all I would give it a thumbs up and we will definitely be going back there again and again. Only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is that it has very limited seating. I guess its because most of the people just order take away. At least thats what we observed but still very limited seating.

This quaint Indian spot serves fast casual food at a fair price. Parking is readily available and its located directly off of Route 1 between Norwalk and Westport. They serve lunch specials and you can eat your food there or take it to go. It is extremely clean and for a independently owned restaurant everything seemed as if it were being overseen by a five star chef. I stopped for the well reviewed fish and chips which was $12 for 2 large pieces of battered and fried cod, British style, served with pub fries. It came with ketchup and tartar sauce and vinegar was available on the tables. It was some of the best fish and chips Ive had north of Manhattan and I highly recommend it, Ill be back again soon!

Perhaps the best fried fast seafood in Norwalk. The fish and chips platter is huge with two hearty size of fresh tasting cod and a healthy portion of potato wedge fries. The whole belly fried clams will give any other seafood place a serious run for its money! All freshly made to order. The briyiani is delish also, make sure you try the Indian food as well!!

I ordered the fish and chips because everything else was going to take 20 minutes, as the chef told me. Both the French fries and the fish was tasteless. The fish was a little watery from being frozen, I guess. I cant comment on their other foods as I have to try them first.

Owner is rude. She tried to charge extra for dish than the menu price. When we oppose it, she was abusive. We ordered Palak Paneer and she served dish without Paneer. I never going to visit again.
