Had dinner there last evening: 2 couples. We frequent many fine place in Westchester and NYC. We have a huge wine cellar at home and know our wines. We were first seated upstairs, almost in the laps of our neighbors. However, they graciously put us downstairs at a booth, after a wait. we were given a wine list with most wines in the 70- $150.00 category! The waiter was suggesting some expensive wines: We knew nothing of the winemakers on the list. were told a very knowledgable woman put these wines together and theyre the best. Well, the $118,00 bottle we ordered per his expertise, turned out to be a tasteless chardonnay with no body or character. Our second bottle was a $42.00 bottle which was superior to the other. I told the waiter we were disappointed but, since the p0uring was rather large, there wasnt much left to return. It wasnt chilled properly either. Perhaps our suggestion is, if youre pushing these expensive unknown wines, a sommalier would be needed! The food was good, Nothing over the top! there are many excellent restaurants out here in Westchester.! I wouldnt rush to go back!

Our experience started with a very rushed reservationist who seemed to care less that we had decided to celebrate a special anniversary dinner at her place of employment. Upon arrival, the downstairs bartender was inattentive, even though there were only 2 other people at the bar, drinks in hand already. Of three fish dishes, one had to be sent back because it was so dry, unpalatable. An apology was barely offered. The side brussel sprouts were served cold. Drinks were very late in getting served. Dessert came but then coffee and tea, ordered at the same time, came after we had finished desserts. Clearer TWICE took away a dish one of our guests was still working on…rather embarrassing. And our waiter did not break a smile once the entire evening. We felt rushed and unwelcome the whole night. NOT the experience we expected from such a "high end" restaurant. To boot, I did send them a brief comment about how disappointed we were and after 2 days, have not heard back. We will not be going back.

Ate at The inn over the weekend. To start our reservations were for 7:30. We were not seated or acknowledged until 8:30. Our waiter took our drink orders right away but dinner orders 45 minutes later. Service was not great at all. The food and drinks however were outstanding. Delicious food and unique desserts. Gratuity was included for a party of 3 which is odd. After leaving the restaurant early the next morning I was notified that my credit card (had not used for a week prior) was used online at 2 am and 3k were charged. I am 99% sure it was taken at The Inn as I havent used it elsewhere. I called to let the restaurant know and all I got was " Sorry about that" Other establishments have offered a coupon for the inconvenience- some have even comped the meal. Extremely disappointed because the food is amazing but the customer service is not.

Foodie Alert: This was a wonderful dining experience. The food, setting and service is on par with a 3 star Michelin experience. A particular standout was the Prosciutto Wrapped Berkshire Pork Chop - which was as lovely as any meal that I have ever tasted. The waitstaff was attentive and welcoming of questions about the menu and the wine selection was very well rounded. Another standout - Cranberry Bread Pudding served warm with a smooth Pumpkin Ice Cream was just enough to make you consider ordering another. While the location is far and tucked away from the epicenter of White Plains I highly suggest that you pay this gem a visit. Be warned, I had a 2 month wait to get a prime time reservation but dont let this stop you from being on your must do list in Westchester.

Booked a reservation for Mothers Day brunch at least one month in advance. We were seated in the dungeon. It was a beautiful day but we were seated in a dark downstairs section of the restaurant. I had eggs benedict. My wife had the roasted lobster. One other couple chose different selections. The food was less than satisfactory. across the board You would think a reputable establishment with the Jean-George name would know how to prepare eggs that were not like hockey pucks and a $44 lobster with more than just the lobster on the plate. We could have had brunch at a Dennys or Pancake House or Cracker Barrel for that matter and had a better meal at significantly less cost. We were all, to the person, very disappointed. I question a return to this establishment.

We were seated immediately, ordered champagne to celebrate our friends birthday. The restaurant is very noisy, but it seemed to be a happy place. Our appetizers were interesting and quite good. Our entrees arrived late and were tepid. Mine missed the mark by a lot. It took over 2 hours to get through the dinner. We have been here before, and had a similar situation. The place is very overrated. I dont think were going to go back. The server only remembered 3 out of the 4 desserts we ordered, so our birthday boy never got his ice cream and cake.

We had a 7:15 reservation, but were not seated until 8:30. We enjoyed tasty snacks at the bar while being served by an aloof bartender ( the McKenzie Manhattan lived up to its reputation). Once seated, we were surprised to encounter an inattentive wait staff, never really knowing who our actual waiter was. On a positive note, the appetizers were quite delicious. Unfortunately, our entrees were lackluster, at best. A place as beautiful as this deserves to have more attention paid to creating a truly memorable dining experience for its patrons.

My reservation was for 9 pm. We were seated at 10:15. No one even came and told us how long the wait was. I had to keep asking when we would be seated. Finally the last time I asked they showed us to a table. At that time there were at least 5 empty tables. I ordered lamb chops they were not cooked enough and the waiter took them back. The pork chops were overdone. I ordered broccoli Rabe. Got Brusselsprouts, the best part of that restaurant was our waiter. I would never go back there again the bill was 240.00 not worth waiting that length of time

This was my third visit to the Inn at Pound Ridge---all of them disappointing given the reputation of Jean-Georges and my visits to his other great restaurants in NYC. Both our salad entrees arrived looking limp and unappealing. Service was inattentive: We ordered a side dish that was forgotten and coffee arrived cold. Unless you choose to sit in the bar area, the noise in the very attractive main dining room is deafening. I had chalked the first experience up to an overwhelmingly busy Saturday night but unfortunately, lunch was no better.

We had lunch at "The Inn" the day after thanksgiving. The food was reasonably good, especially the starters. The main course ok - nothing spectacular. However, what was most disappointing was the service. The waitress wasnt barely did her job and when it was time for us to sign the check, we noticed that she had given herself a hefty 50% tip. When we asked her to correct it she tried to brush it off as minor error and did not offer any apologies. All in all - I wouldnt rush to go back again. There are plenty of other options around!
