I had an hour and a half wait for my food. Then the person forgot my drink. They told me the person was on their way. Never came back. Told me to wait an hour. Never came. Then began to argue with me on when would give me what I already paid for, and even for upset with me over it when I expected to have it within 5 hours. We finally agreed on them getting it to me at 11:00 pm. They close then, its past 11 and I doubt Im ever getting what I already paid for. Total wait time for my drink has been 6 hours. A can of soda. I was never rude to them once, just wanted what I paid for. I got nothing, not even an offer of kindness for all the lies and how patience I was. I refuse to order from them again, Ive been buying from them for years but honesty theyd gotten to a point of no return with how rude and nasty they are. I wish I wasnt down money from wasting my time with them. Even the delivery cost more than some areas. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone and never buy from them again. Sad how after all this they win because they still have my money, and never gave me everything I ordered. Blatant robbery.

Placed an order for delivery and left my phone number just in case there were any issues. Waited an hour and no delivery or phone call, so I call the place and they tell me the driver was already there and for me to come outside. Im assuming the driver was coming back, so I wait 5 more minutes and nothing. I call back and the man tells me the driver left and he will call me back and that was 20 minutes ago. They lost a customer, I will never order from this low budget place again.

terrible service. I walked in expecting to order their food, But stood there almost 10 mins. They did notice me in there, even the lady that takes the orders and stuff ignore me like i wasnt there....dont go there. its a waste of time. they dont like certain people, i wouldnt recommend them to anybody

If you want flies in your rice/chicken, by all means, order from here. Two out of the 4 dishes I ordered tonight for my family had a fly in it. They leave the door open during their hours of operation ALL SUMMER. Not cool. I highly doubt that I will go back to this place. Ever.

Im a big fan of chinese food and Ive tried all the different chinese foods in Poughkeepsie and other surounding areas. So far, the China House is the best! Others even offer free delivery but their food is awful! Good job guys! Keep it up!

I think this is the best Chinese food place in Poughkeepsie by far. I never had a bad experience here before they even stayed open late a few minutes for me one day. Their food is on point I would recommend to anyone.

I ordered small bone in spareribs and one and a half sparerib was burnt, and its not the first time this has happened. The shrimp rolls were fine, but the duck sauce was not enough even though I asked for extra.

Best food in town by far. Boneless spare ribs best Ive ever had, and the crab Rangoon is made a little differently from others but very delicious. Delivery driver is very polite and works hard.

Not a "date" restaurant by any means. Only 3 sticky tables in this tiny storefront, but acceptable fast American-Chinese takeout. I order here often and yet to be disappointed.
