I love their food! Its always fresh and yummy. Their bagels are my favorite, since they get them fresh from Collegetown Bagels in Ithaca. However, I absolutely love going there in the summer for a smoothie. Nothing better on a hot day than one of their orange juice based smoothies. I love that they have an alternative to yogurt based smoothies. My only complaint, is that he closes with little notice on occasion, so if you have plans to meet there with friends you have to reschedule. It gets to the point where you dont make plans to go there, instead you only go when it is spurt of the moment.

I enjoy the friendly fast service and the delicious sandwiches, soups, yummy coffees, cold drinks and nice people taking care of you. Take your time, enjoy the place without being rushed to leave. Bring your laptop, a book or pick a book from their library. Great place with all you could want in a small town country cafe. Thanks for being there!!

Several people stopped by the Cardinal Cafe while in Newark Valley for our class reunion of 1971!!! It was so good we had to come back the next morning before we went to the Finger Lakes. This is a place you dont want to miss! Since I live in North Carolina it will be a while before I get to return. :( Joanne Vitelli
