The food at this Korean-influenced Japanese ramen joint is just okay at best, but the prices on their specials can make them appealing. Make sure to check their daily specials board outside. Each day they have one flavor of ramen for $9.95. Come between 4-7 to get their happy hour where with any ramen theyll throw in either a pint of beer or fried gyoza, which stacks together with the $9.95 daily special prices. The regular prices of $13.95 a bowl make them much less appealing. The broth of their ramen is very weak. It probably has something to do with the fact that they have like a dozen flavors of ramen on their menu, rather than spending a lot of time to get just a few right like at most serious ramen restaurants. The tan-tan mens brother in particular was incredibly thin, other than the taste of the spicy sauce. Speaking of the spicy sauce, their Korean influence reveals itself here, in that they rather strangely use gochujang to add the spicy flavor to the broth. Their noodles are decently good - springy and having a nice bite. The chashu pork was the highlight of the ramen. Thick cut and meltingly good. The fried gyoza didnt do much for me. Reminded me rather negatively of egg rolls.

Ordered on Seamless based on reviews. Our estimate of 40 min delivery was now over an hour. When we called to assess delivery, person said all deliveries were out. I live in a doorman building and missed a call directly from delivery person after an hour of waiting (and my doorman didnt call up - which is their fault BUT, food could have been left w doorman). Saw missed call and went to door and bag of food was left hanging on doorknob (seriously?!). Food was cold which I could deal with but $16/soup with a small portion and bland/lack of any taste is unacceptable. Unsure how this place has received any good reviews?? Nothing redeemable to report.

客を侮辱するサーバーが居る店で、わざわざ不快な思いをする必要はありません。別のラーメン屋を選んで下さい。 This restaurant is the worst for a server.I had a dinner at 22:30 on Friday 23rd Jun.Since first Korean girl server (I wont mention her name here) was not a professional at all.The most rude behavior was when I asked to have a lot of ices for a glass, she said "I cant understand Japanese",however I kept speaking in English. Ive never spoken in Japanese to her. This is an insult. If she wants to keep to work at a Japanese restaurant, she should know Japanese politely. Many Japanese must come there for customers. We cant accept such an insult.I wouldnt come again as long as she works there.

Delicious food here. Ive had their curry ramen, miso ramen and syo-yu ramen, as well as the curry, croquettes and salmon maki. If everything else is like these things, itll all be delicious. The atmosphere is pretty good too; its great for eating solo or with a small group of 5-6 at the most. The music in the background is good too with stuff ranging from contemporary American pop to some pretty awesome K-pop, which is probably more for the enjoyment of the staff than the atmosphere but its still good.

Always sends the wrong order. For the second time we paid almost $40 for two Shio Ramen (broth, egg, 2 slices of pork, seaweed and scallion) and extra egg. We received noodles, scallion and fish cake with less than half a container of broth each after an hour (one of us is allergic to fish). Tried calling for 20 minutes and they wont pick up. This isnt worth $10. Greed has taken over one of my favorite spots and after 5 years of loyalty, Im moving on to Rai Rai.

Currently my favorite place to go to for ramen. Its a bit pricey, but you can get a small discount if you come during lunch hours. The noodles were fresh with a nice texture, and the soup wasnt overwhelming. They also serve sushi, but in my personal opinion, I would stick with the ramen (thats what theyre known for).

This place is pretty charming and welcoming. As in any typical Japanese store, sevice was fast and attentive. My order came within five minutes. I know this is not an artisanal ramen place, but then again for table service that was lightning fast, also server was nice. Will be come back again!!!

The food was good and the service was nice , yet I come from a poor background and can. Rarely leave a tip , so when I didnt the people proceeded to chase me down and ask me for the tip , and they got very offended when I told them I didnt have money ... Weird experience

Ate here just once and I look forward to coming back. Had the California rolls (kind of small but they were good), and the squid skewers (wish they fried them for a few secs more). Other than that, Id give this place a second try. Their ramen options seemed good.

Just for food evaluation. Had 2 ramen noodles, shoyu and karai miso. One word. Lousy. What is ths? Angel hair in chicken broth for shoyu. Really salty karai Miso with red pepper paste ? For all the stars, it is beyond disappointment. Save your dough.

Kind of expensive, and the Curry Ramen was just meh at best lack of flavor. BUT THE WORST is that I left no tip (Im a starving college student sue me, plus I was there for 20 minutes tops) and the guy CHASED me out the store asking for a tip.

Food is good (particularly the Steinhardt roll!), service is very much lacking. Dont expect anything, youll have to ask for someone to come take your order, remind them to bring you your food, and beg for the check at the end of the meal.

Weve been enjoying RTs ramen, tsukemen and cold draft beers since they were located a few blocks north of this current location. I just wish they would update their music selection. Its consistently saccharine and too loud.

I went there with my friends and we ordered gyoza, miso ramen, fried squid and some rolls. I loved all of them and especially the ramen soup was so tasty !! I definitely will go back there and recommend this place for others.

Very cozy Japanese restaurant with delicious food. Its conveniently located on the NYU campus and open relatively late. The menu even includes rolls named after some schools of NYU (including Poly!) and theyre really good.

Great restaurant, one of the best ramen in NYC. Broth and noodles are on point. Subjectively I love it because of the broth and the chewyness of the noodles. The combination together work is in perfect harmony
