Rude and unproffessional. In October 2015 i ordered minion birthday cake with cupcakes the cake bread was so hard it was dry, not edible. IN OCTOBER ORDERED A BAPTISM CAKE THE CAKE BREAD WAS DRY AGAIN NOT EDIBLE. THIS JANUARY I ORDERED TWO CAKES 2 weeks ahead of time with cupcakes 183 one little mermaid one safari, the manager said they didnt have little mermaid cake toppers for the cupcakes so he showed me from the book that he had beach seashells starfish and pearls. Great! The safari would have green frosting on the cupcakes and little animal cake toppers, as shown in the book the person who was taking my order wrote everything down, the book, the page the number of the design everything. The day has come to pick up the cakes, only little mermaid & safari cake.. no cupcakes and the cashier was charging 96 dollars more than the balance due. So where are the cupcakes? The person took my copy of the receipts and went to ask the co workers making it seem like there was no cupcakes on the order initially. She came back and realized that in fact there was cupcakes and to wait 10 minutes for 30 little mermaid cupcakes saying that who knows who i spoke to they didnt have the animal cake toppers. So unhappy because i spent close to an hour ordering my cakes being specific and even spoke to the manager.Its not worth the money and it does not matter who i spoke to the bakery has the original copy and im a customer that was treated very unfairly and left unhappy i also bought a cake in November and asked especifically what cakes where freshly made another cashier said and lied. Its a total rip off because the cake bread was super dry.

This bakery is right around my neighborhood, I love their cheesecake and will not hesitate to pick up coffee or bread from them. However for my sons first birthday I ordered a cake that I was very disappointed to pay 65$ for. It was SUPPOSED TO BE a mickey mouse cake with a plane featuring a background of a blue sky with white clouds. I being the perfectionist I am decided to call and make sure they were on their job 2 days before. When the man picked up he said oh yes this order had a problem because they could not get the mickey plane that was originally supposed to be on the cake. But he assured me that I would be getting the 1st option offered ( a mickey car with a background of a road and mickeys friends) This made me happy but when I went to pick up the cake 2 days later there was no background on the cake at all. it had looked like they mixed some colors and just tried to make it look fancy then placed the car and road on top of the pink and purple and blueish.. I was infuriated not only because if I would have never called I probably would have ended up with a plane chocolate cake but because now I had to take a pink and purple cake to my sons party that was so unwell done. The woman who came in front of me to pick up her cake had the same exact problem. but at least her cake was for a girl lol with that being said I dont recommend ordering things from them that are important they have good quality bakers back there but the customer service is very poor. in the end at least I had a cake right ? aha

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I went in there to get tres leches cake. The lady ended up giving me cheesecake and had a whole argument with me telling me I said cheesecake. Im lactose intolerant why would I order a cheesecake. How can she tell me what I ordered. She didnt want to do anything about, ignoring me it till I caused a scene. She then went on to be rude, tell me next time I should make the right choice. I said there wont be a next time. She snatched the cheesecake from me and threw my change at me. Yes their cakes look good but I will never go there again. Had to find a nearby bakery that sold tres leches which was more expensive, smaller slice and not as good looking.

Best bakery ever!! I’m from Harlem and have been having their cakes since I was a little girl. My mom used to get our birthday cakes from here and now I do it for my kids cuz they’re just so damn good! Recently ordered my daughters 10inch Trolls cake for only $75 ,I may add, and it was not only beautiful and so well decorated but it was delicious, so fresh and moist. It was tres leches too! Truly grateful to them. They made my baby girl so happy for her 4th birthday ❤️

First time in this bakery and it wont be my last! Ordered a tres leche cake with fruits on top and it was a hit!!! The staff is very nice and helpful in helping me pick the best choice of so many options to choose! My family and I raved of how moist and perfect the frosting was...frosting was not too sweet and not waxy tasting. I absolutely will try the other flavors, cant wait!!! Thanks to all the reviews for convincing me to try this spot!!!

This place its going down the drain regarding bread. I was able to go early in the morning and get hot and fluffy delicious bread . Now its hard falls apart and the taste is not even the same, Is unbelievable how quality dropped. So sad that today 8.26.2017 will be my last time visiting this place because after many second chances I concluded is just not the same. Sad that after so many years visiting this place I will no longer go to Capri.

Best bakery. Especially the customer service is the best. Ladies know how to attend and even on busy days they are quick and try to attend everyone even if people are being rude which isnt rare at Spanish Harlem. I really recommend people get there cakes there because its like it taste so good like they made it from the heart. I really enjoy it I swear no other bakery like this one

Love their desserts and cakes! I wouldve gave them a 5 star but sometimes they can get little too cocky and have attitudes towards customers knowing that they are the only cheap and best selling bakery in Harlem. Its a tiny shop as well. Besides that I love their desserts.

There cakes are moist and the cakes layers are higher than most bakerys which is a plus being that you can serve more slices due to the size and the butter cream is smooth and whipped like in Italian bakeries not crystallized like alot of Spanish bakerys
