After waiting outside in a super long line (Which of course was so definitely worth it) I finally made my way into this super crowded, tiny hole in the wall paradise. I was so excited to finally get my hands on some of the top rated doughnuts in all of NYC. I ordered six pieces. Cinnamon Sugar, Plain Glazed, Salted Chocolate Caramel, Pumpkin, Chocolate Cocoa Nib & Mocha Almond Crunch. The last time I had any doughnut that tasted anything as great as these were these amazing donuts I used to buy in London. I absolutely ravaged the Cinnamon Sugar and Plain Glazed. I love how simple they are yet so full of flavor. My only complaint/hesitation is the space. I know its Brooklyn and rents are high but if there was only a little more room to stay and have a cuppa coffee with that doughnut, well that would just be heaven on earth.

One of the best places to get Donuts in the city (if youre in Manhattan, check out the Donut Plant), and definitely the best in Brooklyn. They have a great variety of flavours that range into the bizarre, and theyre open reasonably late. Dough is also present at a number of other businesses as a donut supplier, and youll find them at food festivals too. Dough also has coffee and generic drinks in their stores, but Ive never tried them. They deliver (although their delivery area is kinda small) through some of the delivery services, but youll probably need to make a trip to their store (which is in an admittedly inconvenient neighbourhood) at least once to find out what kind of donuts they have. I try to take people visiting from out-of-town to this place.

The first time I tasted a donut from the dough, I was excited to finally experience it because I witnessed the long lines on Saturday morning. However, I found the flavor was off the donut was thick and flavorless. Do Im a fair consumer yesterday I made my 2nd attempt I purchased several doughnut varying in flavours. I eat one the cheesecake donut, and i could not finish it. The donut was thick almost bread like and if it was not labeled cheesecake you would not have known what flavor it was. There was a weird after taste and a unflattering taste. I even tried a piece of the chocolate coconut, I thought who could ruin chocolate but they did that who.. sorry its a 2 thumbs down for me

Salt chocolate and dulce de leche...I am a choxoholic and I loved the dulce. Better than donut plant. /// Just had again from the Brooklyn location (first review was from the Williamsburg Flea) - they dough was different -- the Flea doug was fluffier and melted in your mouth, the store dough was a bit firmer. Both were delicious (although I liked the Flea a bit better) - We did a half dozen for 6 people and each person tried each flavor - Dulce De Leche and the Expresso/Coffee Glaze came out as winnters --- the PassionFruit was loved as well. Chocolate was really overly chocolate-y. I forget what the other was and we got a 2nd Dulce De Leche.

Dough is by far the best doughnut shop in New York City, that is if youre into yeast doughnuts (and if youre not, you will be). There is not a doughnut they dont make splendidly, particularly the nutella stuffed doughnut, the lemon poppyseed glazed, and the dulce du leche. Each doughnut is pillowy and soft, with the perfect glaze to dough ratio, so that youre never left wanting more. You cant go wrong sitting inside with your doughnut and a cup of Brooklyn Roast coffee, watching people pass by on Lafayette. BONUS: Dough also makes some of the pastries for a few local markets such as Choice Greene, all of which are delicious.

Scrumptious! Sweet~ Ambrosial (Donut Heaven worthy) Do I always find the "perfect bite" every visit? Yes. I have tried the cafe de luit, dulce de Leche, coconut, lemon poppyseed, cinnamon sugar, and countless more. The reason I love this place is because no matter which donut I get, they each have its own distinct unique flavor but the perfect chewy, soft, melting texture is always there. Even when I get these donuts at the Brooklyn Roasting Company (which means they may be not as fresh) they are still De-Licious! Try these donuts! You might need some coffee because some of the donuts can get sweet. Will not disappoint!

I respect any place that makes fresh food, so 4. but they really put the dough in doughnut, if you want speciality Doughnuts. then go to doughnut plant, if you want the same doughnut with a different glaze on top this is your place. Add in how huge each portion was (had 4 different types) its ridiculous to buy these as a traveling customer, unless you have napkins. I ate them all, on the consensus that id do this review with honesty, and truly nothing about the doughnuts was different beyond, the glaze. But if thats their thing then my bad for not reading.

These doughnuts were AMAZING. You know that nasty after taste you can get from eating something sweet (like a doughnut)... Yea that didnt happen. I came on a Saturday night with my girlfriend and her friend to grab some these amazing looking treats, and guess what; The place was closed slightly early because they were sold out. I came back the next day and the place was PACKED. Took these bad boys home and made a doughnut cake for my girl friend... She loved it... I loved it. Will definitely come back.

Let me tell you right now: If youre a doughnut enthusiast, THIS is one of the places you need to visit before you die. No, like, really. This place is one of the treasures of Brooklyn. Small businesses like Dough, are what makes my home borough one of the most sought after places in the NY metropolitan area. The doughnuts speak for themselves, and once you start, you cant stop. You owe it to yourself to try this place out. You cant afford to NOT do it. blasianFMA

Moist, but not greasy donuts are the eponymous treat at this Brooklyn donut shop. Unlike the trendy donut shops and bakeries that are popping up all over, you wont find any chicken and waffle donuts here, just classic mainstays like glazed, cinnamon, and coconut. The donuts are massive, but well cooked and moist throughout. The icing is also delicious without being too heavy. Check out their stand at the Brooklyn Smorgasbord market as well.

I love Dough! We tried it the first time at Smorgasburg Flea Market. We tried Lemon Poppy Seed and Passion Fruit donuts. They are $2.5 each but they are big! Three of us shared 2 donuts so we could continue to pig out for the rest of the afternoon. The donuts are surprisingly light and fluffy. They honestly dont taste greasy, which are comforting for my guilty conscious! I think I am going to try all the flavors they have real soon...

It was good value but you needed to order before you could work out the prices. If you were a regular Im sure this works fine but as a passing visitor we didnt want to hold up the considerable queue by asking lots of questions. Had we known how reasonable the prices were before ordering we might have got more than just a couple of basic doughnuts. I can see why people walk many blocks to come here, I recommend you visit of near by.

Los mejores dónuts de Nueva York, hay que probarlos. Esta tienda es muy pequeñita y no tiene espacio para sentarse dentro, pero sí un banco en el exterior. Tienen otra tienda con más espacio en Manhattan.
