Came here for a New Years Eve celebration (12/31/15). They have one every year, open to the public, and was only $125 per person. Which included open bar, cocktail hour, table seating w/ full dinner, and a DJ from 9-2am. This was my first year going for NYE and I must say I was NOT disappointed. NYE here was recommended by some friends of ours who attended previous years. We arrived promptly at 9, the workers and security were well organized, and we got inside in no time (I was concerned there would be a mob in front and take forever to get in, not the case). The facility itself was great, nicely decorated, well kept, and very clean. The employees were great... everyone from the wait staff to security was polite, very responsive, and respectful. Noone seemed unhappy to be working on NYE. The food was great, dinner included fish, chicken, and a meat (something for everyone). The drinks were made just right (shout out to AJ the bartender, making his specialty drink all night...the "AJ"). Overall I would definitely recommend this place to others, and I will be back celebrating another New Year with them... Happy Yelping :)

I have had the pleasure of eating here with col-workers, friends and my wife. I love it. If youre looking for speed, go to McDonalds. The wait is worth it - the food is fantastic. If youre looking for the 30something with the towel on their arm nad looking to bring home a paycheck for the whole family, as your waiter or witress, go to Del Friscos. The Family that runs this place is personable, generous and I adore them each time, more and more. Menues? I wouldnt ask for one. Go there trusing the family and youll always, always, always love their choices. "Im just looking for something light, but spicy" and thats what youll get. Always be on the lookout, because unless you know the players of NYC and other places, you could be sitting next to someone and not even realize it. "They" go to this place because it may not be Well Known, but it is QUALITY for sure!

Ida is the best chef, we dine there any time we go near the city. Fell in love w/ Ida, Vincent & Anthony from the first. First dinner we were a party of 8, all raved about the food, 3 ordered expresso or cappucino w/ Sambuca & soon the entire group was sipping away a whole bottle of Sambuca, Anthony brought a new bottle & we finished it also. After the check came I saw the charge for drinks from the back was $21.00 for three coffees W/ Sambuca, I expected to be charged for the two bottles of Sambuca. Cant get enough of this special real Italian food. Who ever wrote the bad review most likely was eating pasta out of a can or a poor homeless slob eating out of his local dumpster. Disregard the following review as this was done by a Bum.

Came here on a weeknight for dinner. Service was a bit grumpy in the beginning, but got better as the dinner went on. We ordered the baked clams, the pappardelle special, and monkfish. Baked clams was quite tasty, probably my fav of the night. The monkfish was topped with breadcrumbs and mushrooms. Flavour was good, fish was cooked well. The pappardelle was served with clams. There were lots of clams but the dish was very blend and the pasta texture wasnt very good. Would have probably tasted better if it was dried pasta than a housemade pappardelle.

Went there one night while in NYC and I loved the atmosphere and the food and wine were amazing. I had the Shrimp Parmigiana with a side of pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Service wasnt too bad. Prices are definitely a bit higher than I expected but at the same time not too high. The room where our table was had a nice fire going which was definitely nice. If you go, Id recommend dressing up a bit though.

granted that i am a real italian, not from nj. just by saying that, i should warn you not go there unless you are in the mood for slow and non responsive service, americanized italian food for tourists and, of course, an overpriced bill... but in nyc you guys judge the quality by the appearance and the amount you pay...

Simply the best italian food around. Everything from the fresh bread and imported italian olive oil on the table to the pasta, chicken with radicchio, and cannoli at the end. its amazing clearly home cooked italian food. Service is also always great. all the waiters are extremely friendly and provide fast service.

top-flight restaurant in this up-and-coming neighborhood; well worth the hop over the 59th st bridge, even for manhattanites who wouldnt step near the bridge & tunnel crowd. thin personal pizzas and calzones to die for, as well as other mains; what they do with cabbage is amazing -- and well worth the cabbage.

I actually havent eaten a real meal here (yet). They do have a nice bakery area in the front where you can get sweets to go, which might be all Ive done here. They weigh it out by the pound or you can do like I did and just get a few pieces to go. They also have gelato, which I want to go back and try.

Came here with a big group of coworkers. The dish that I had (a special of the night) was just a bit bland, but everyone elses pasta dish was delicious. Super big portions for the entree and the appetizers are great too! Service can be a bit odd, but didnt seem rude; just an old school Italian spot.

Great food, decor is modest and makes you feel at home! Service was great the first time I ventured here several years back but very slow when I brought my husband and our son which was a disappointing but wed still return and we have recommended it still as well.

Great food, great wine, and service is even better. The family that runs the place is extremely nice and spends the time to get to know their customers (and has great wine recommendations)

Best chicken parmigiana hands down. Authentic Italian food from the old country. Real red sauce. This is worth a trip. Or if you live in the area dont miss out.

I dont know what to say about this place. The food is great, especially the pasta, the ambiance is great but the attitude of the service staff stinks.

Definitely go to Manducatis for some amazing authentic Italian food! The stairs to the G train are right next to it so you can easily go to/from it.

Great food, but asked for a glass of house white that never came, asked for nocheese (on a shrimp pasta dish) and it was sprinkled on top anyway.
