Our first time at Market Street and really enjoyed the food. We ordered the rigatoni entree: sausage, peas, cream, tomato, pepper flakes and the personal wood fired Caprina pizza: fig-rosemary spread, Coach Farm goat cheese, pear, arugula, truffle oil. Both were delicious. Pizza crust was light, flakey and thin. We will be back soon to try the other three pizzas that were hard to choose from: MARGHERITA mozzarella, tomato, oregano, basil; RICOTTA peas, spring garlic, bacon, mozzarella; PARMA prosciutto, arugula, tomato, mozzarella. Also want to try the Duck Entree, sounds terrific. Hudson Valley slow roasted duck leg, chorizo, green lentils, fennel, squash. Will post another review after our next visit.

I have never experienced something like this in any restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered their chocolate Verhona cake which is made to order. When I received it, it seemed normal. It was a pretty good cake, but all of a sudden the manager came up to me and asked if the cake was oozing chocolate and it was not. She the proceeded to comp it for me and order me a new cake! I said nothing and I didnt even know anything was wrong yet they cared so much about getting their food right that they went so far as to comp something I wasnt even dissatisfied with. Truly a sign of a well run restaurant. Also the food in general is amazing. I didnt know salad could taste so good!

Upscale-casual, inviting atmosphere. A bit too loud to speak casually at our table of six. Attentive, congenial wait staff, even with children. Nicely prepared fresh ingredients. . Stracciatella, Halibut, and Risotto were stand outs. Meatballs, Calamari, Solid. Caesar, and Orecchiette very much lacking. Tried three different white wines by the glass and was not left with an impression by any. I know it was by the glass but...plenty of cheaper whites on the market to offer a rounded, flavorful gulp to the other wisely offered, and thoughtfull menu options.

Sunday morning brunch, the place is busy, but had two seats at the back bar. Thats just fine, since you get a first hand view of the pizza oven and artist making your meals. The staff work in syncopated patterns, often making a plate travel from the front to the back of the venue so each member can add their touch. Although disconcerting at first, its as if your food is dancing on its way to your setting. The stuffed mushroom pizza is wonderful, truffled and crispy, perfect with a draught of beer to take the edge off of the memory of Saturday night.

This post is for a Sunday light-menu dining. When we walked in, it was explained to us lunch was done with-we saw pizza and appetizers and decided to stay. Albeit many many many tables and booths being available, they did not accommodate our request to change seats to a booth or inside where open kitchen is. No bread or butter was provided until I asked! I am glad those of you who "love" the owner have great experience here. We, strangers to the owner, did not. disappointed.

Weve been here twice. Food was very good the first time, and decent the second time. Service was very good first time with our party of 10. Second time with only 4 of us, service was terrible. Our waiter disappeared at some point, never to be seen again. Staff just seemed to have an attitude problem. Not sure Ill go back a third time. Lots of options in town.

The food here is great, friendly staff open to substitutions. A great place to gather with numerous people, a little expensive, but worth splurging on. The only con is that it can be a little slow at some times getting food out.
