Stopped for lunch on 9/19/16 with my wife. Dining room only had one other family in so we were seated right away. Server was friendly and brought chips and salsa with our drink order. I ordered a fajita burrito and my wife ordered a taco salad. The burrito I had was good, but the taco salad for my wife was the saddest taco salad Ive ever seen in my life. It had what looked like a handful of that burger King shredded lettuce in it, one tomato wedge, refried beans on the bottom and the grease from the ground beef was swimming in it. As I said the place was empty and our server never made it back to our table to check on us. We might have made another order, but by the time our server returned we were done. Taco salad was taken off the bill but no one in the restaurant seemed to care we were not satisfied. Its a shame because we both love mexican food and this restaurant is close for us, but I think we might have to take a pass on Aguacates next time.

It took 15 minutes for a server to ask what we wanted, even though there were multiple waitresses on the floor. This is such a small establishment, that shouldnt happen. We were about to walk out until the host came along. After ordering, it took 45 minutes for the food to come out! There was nothing special about the food, nothing memorable. This place may have tons of good reviews in the past, but I cant see they hold up against the test of time. Edit: Got to love the professional attitude from the owner when it comes to feedback of their establishment! Surprised it wasnt a face like the other low reviews.

Any other time I have had a great experience but today was HORRIBLE!! Brought our son to lunch with us before he had to go to work. Took forever for our food that he had to leave and didnt even get to eat. Never gave us a napkin or silverware till after we get our food and I had to ask for it. Got our refills mixed up. just all around ridiculous. It wasnt busy enough for such service. I sat there for 5 mins waiting for the bill finally walked up and paid it. Probably wont be back for some time now. I did cooking and waitressing so maybe I expect to much but I do know what to expect and this wasnt it.

2nd time going and still Horrible, Horrible service. No Host/Hostess to greet and seat. Order beverages, brought them except 1 had to find server waited additional 15 minutes to get it. Waited for food over a hour, server disappeared had to find another server to bring food items missing with our meal, 1 dinner was incorrect, server took it back never brought the correct meal. only thing saving this place is the food is good, its really sad that the manager is clueless how to operate a restaurant.

Service is horrible. I really dont think our waitress could have been more rude. Chip were 3 month stale. Took about 35 minutes to get our food that was metioucer. The only thing that is pretty good is the cheese dip, but when the waitress forgets to bring it out its kind of annoying. Told the manager about all the problems and really couldnt say much. Never going back!!! And the response from the owner is ":P"... This is why the waitress is rude and food isnt great. Dont try your best buddy...

Some of the best Mexican food Ive ever eaten! I lived in Tucson AZ for a while and had lots of Mexican food and these guys at Aguacates are the real deal. If you want real authentic Mexican food, then this is the place for you. When you walk in its like you stepped into Mexico with the decor, the music and the staff. Their service and attention to detail are outstanding! We were there last night and the place was packed on a Thursday! We love it and its definitely become one of our Favs!

I have taken my family to Aguacates around a dozen times, and each time we leave completely satisfied. I try to have something different each time, and I have loved everything that I have had thus far. Definitely the best Mexican food in the area! The wait staff and owner are also very friendly and genuinely care about how they represent their business. If you havent tried them before, make it a point to do so!

BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT EVER. My fiance and I have eaten here numerous times and have decided to never order the same thing twice and we have not been disappointed. Every meal is amazing. Service is awesome and the waiter last time even called us amigos. If youre looking for delicious Mexican food with an authentic atmosphere for a great price, look no further.

I know this place has a lot of potential. Thats why this rating is a 4 star and not a one. The staff was very nice, but also very overwhelmed. Seems like this place needs help. The food was okay. Could use more flavor.. but there is only so much you can do if youre working with half the staff that you need. Hang in there Aguacates! You got this!

A tiny, but awesome place! Great food, reasonable prices, and super friendly staff. Im a gluten free girl and they have always accommodated me with no issues. So nice to finally have a Mexican restaurant in Lockport! If you like LaTolteca, then save yourself the drive, because you will love Aguacates!

As far as mexican food goes in WNY, this is the best place I have found since moving here from the Southwest. This place is staffed by mexicans and the food is wonderful. The service is cheerful and prompt. Prices are below what you would expect for this area and portions are above average.

These guys used to have a great restaurant in Batavia that my wife and I discovered more that ten years ago. That was a 25 mile trip that was well worth the drive. Wow did we ever get lucky when they decided to move to Lockport! Now we go there at least twice a month. This is the real deal.

Loora was our server, fantastic meal and service. My fajitas came out with chicken and i was fine with that after ordering beef, she left the chicken order and brought a beef plate as well. The food is phenomenal, will be back when visiting again. Thank you to all

There are four choices for "Mexican food" in Lockport. This one blows the other three out of the water. The food is always awesome — even if Im not always sure what Im ordering. And it comes super quick. Oh! And free chips and salsa. Yep. Go here.

Authentic Mexican food. They serve chips and a house salsa free while you wait for your food. Everything on the menu is excellent. Plus the lunch menu is cheap and excellent. I havent brought anyone there who hasnt enjoyed it.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have encountered to date. A little small but a great atmosphere.laurie was my server and she was absolutely amazing. I can not wait to try more dishes from here.
