The salsa served with tortillas chips is delicious. I would have polished it off on my own, but my dining companion was quicker. As a main dish, I had the pargo veracruz (the red snapper). The portion was hearty, but swimming in a sauce that really had no taste. The bits of bone within the fish were not very appetizing. To avoid swallowing them, I focused on the accompanying yellow rice & black beans & a side order of maduros (all three were good). My dining companion could not finish the arroz con pollo. She said that while it was delicious, it was too large a portion for one sitting. It became the following days breakfast. Overall, there was more good than bad. The staff was amiable, the bathroom well stocked w/TP & tidy. I would give El Coyote another shot. Hold the fish bones.

Para comida mexicana esta mas sabrosa la comida de los puestesitos que estan en la avenida Roosevelt ave. en Jackson heights y sobre mas barata y en otros puestos hasta las tortillas hechas a mano y mas barato y la comida del restaurant el coyote muy horrible e insipida NO SE LO RECOMIENDO ALA GENTE QUE EN REALIDAD QUIERA COMER ALGO CON UN SABOR AUTENTICO MEXICANO

Food was very tasty but they gave me the gringo treatment. I ordered the fajitas and my girl the ceviche. Two dishes.. They brought out the ceviche as an appetizer and I had to ask for the fajita after seeing a few other patrons get thier dinner before me. Fajita only sizzled for 5 seconds. I love tequila and they have an amazing selection. Asked for chilled anejo in a salt rimmed glass, received a warm silver tequila in a shot glass and a Tabasco shot with salted rim. Told waitress to forget the Tabasco shot and asked for the right tequila. Still in a shot and warm... It was annoying, but the food was good. Quality spot, I will try again, and maybe sit at the bar.

The failed to deliver all of the food and continued to give me the run around. After calling them several times, they claimed the rest of the delivery was "on the way." Keep in mind, I live 2 blocks away. They provided the same excuse in an hour and 15 minute span to the point where when I called, they avoided picking up. They never even fully apologized in the first place before this escalation. I had to call seamless to dispute this and get a full refund. El Coyote would have stolen my money! This place should go out of business, as they shouldnt exist as a business that doesnt respond, serve, nor treat customers with proper manners or proper communication.

Super irresponsables, se hiso una orden para domicilio duro una hora. Llego incompleta. Cuando llame dijeron que Ivan a taer lo que falta y cuando llame por tercera vez nadie sabía de qué la orden llego incompleta.Luego volvieron y toman la orden de lo que faltaba y duro casi otra hora.

I love Mexican food but this place was not my favorite. I ordered the fish tacos but I didnt enjoy it. I asked the waitress if she would switch it but she said that there was nothing that she could do. When I requested to speak to the manager, Gerardo, approached me with an attititude. He said that I should have asked for hard Taco instead but that he would exchange it THIS TIME. I didnt feel like I was treated with the best customer service and the food wasnt great which is why I gave the grade I did. If I could have rated it lower, I would have. The fried ice cream was good as well.

Visited this location months ago and really noticed an improvement. The staff were attentive and professional. The owner we met at the other location might have helped this location be better. The Ceviche, Empanadas, Skirt steak, Chicken wings, Rice& beans, Fried Ice cream, Churros and the Tamarind frozen Margheritas were all great with no complaint. Seldom can that be said but they deserve acknowledgement for this really good experience.

Very nice service!!! They are attentive to you and the staff is always looking to help and clean your table. The Guacamole I ordered is prepared right in front of you and is exactly what I wanted. The alcoholic beverages were great and large sized but the prices are a bit high. They provide you with complimentary hot wine at the end of your stay to help with digestion and another way to help you cope once you see the bill ;)

It was amazing. I had a churrasco for lunch with passion fruit Margarita. My partner had pork chops with coconut Margarita. Both dishes were really tasty and the drinks were perfect for a spring day. We have to come back for dinner to enjoy the mariachi band. The waiter told me that Fridays and Sundays at night they have a mariachi band playing songs live.

I ordered the days special, ribs. The food arrived over forty minutes later and every rib was undercooked. I asked for it to be cooked more, I received it the same way I returned it, twenty minutes later. The waiter responded with, "thats how it is". The knife couldnt cut through the texture. Horrible experience.

Great restaurant. Great atmosphere. The food was very tasty as well as desserts. Portion wise, I think theyre good and prices are reasonable. Had a good time for my friends birthday dinner. The only complaint would be food took a while to get to our table but other than that I definetely recommend this place.

Mexican food is very good here. Their margaritas are even better. They have good happy hour deals during the week late at night. Sometimes they are understaffed which is an inconvenience for customers. Beyond that, the food and ambiance is great.

Delicious food, the fajita combo was great also the margarita drinks are awesome try coconut/mango....Juans service was great...a few minutes from LGA, a must go dining location......I cant wait for my next LGA area stay.

Great Mexican food and great service. However the mixed drinks (alcoholic) are poorly made as they all taste watered down. My recommendation is the Churrasco which is absolutely delicious.

Food is decent, although dressed to impress, the waiters lack of professionalism was a big turnoff. Quit if you dont like your jobs! A very careless attitude from the staff!!!!
