I went there to wait for a friend and was about to order online when a worker whom I had a history with appeared from behind the counter and walked to the front to refill a drink. She wasnt wearing work attire and had some type of non-uniform hat which might have been made of wool. As surprising as the encounter was, I decided to see if I could talk to her for a minute given our past history. A simple no would have sufficed, but instead she threatened me and said she would tell the manager that I was harassing her if I didnt leave immediately and never come back. Regardless of our history, that is far from okay, and threatening to lie to your manager to kick me out crossed it. So I told her to bring him over because I intended to explain the situation and explain to the manager the nasty attitude his employee had and complete lack of professionalism (even though we had a negative history together). The second the manager came in I barely had time to explain that we had a brief past before he threatened to call the cops on me and asked me to leave the story. After trying unsuccessfully to get my words in about how I wasnt harassing anyone and that the employee accusing me (who I question was even working at the moment since she had clothes that couldnt possibly have been safe to work in) of harassment barely spoke to me and was not being honest in the effort to cause me a grievance. The manager did not care, didnt seem interested in hearing my story out and treated me like I was some type of scumbag without knowing the situation. Evidently enough, I cant hold the manager as responsible as the employee who I might will probably see about taking legal action against, but being so rude to a customer while they are on line to order, complete apathy in terms of the full story and making threats involving the police was enough. I even had the respect to offer to resolve the situation with the employee or himself outside of the restaurant since I understand that talking to me about this might have been uncomfortable for him infront of a lot of customers, but he refused and said I couldnt even be outside the store (which I dont understand since the whole block is full of stores and I dont see how he can tell me to leave an entire block). I dont mind refusing my invitation to resolve the matter peacefully, but his manner was not okay. Evidently enough, I had to call my friend to meet me somewhere else in the vicinity where we had a nice dinner. I think I can say that my friend and I will never go to that store again or any Chipotle because of the embarrassment, rudeness and complete lack of professionalism the manager and one employee had. PS: If they allow employees to walk around in the kitchen with their regular clothes, that is such a health hazard! The fact that this employee was doing this to the managers knowledge infront of customers is just insulting to the customers. Id check your food before taking a bite...

I had a bad experience 6 months ago...I walked in for a late lunch and saw a baby in a diaper sitting on a prep table... his hipster father didnt think that was an issue concerning health code ..the whole staff was talking to him.....not waiting on customers... I asked to see a manager..."none in the building" Fast forward to today...all new staff... First contact...didnt know what a corn tortilla was The next person on line had a melt down...flipped out on the first person...ugly!!! 3 people down the line.... I asked for chips and guacamole.. None at check out... I asked again...Got the stink EYE!!! The checkout person...rung me up for the wrong item and didnt charge me for the chips..with a manager standing over her...telling her what too do OK You cant have a trainee on a register at the height of lunch in NYC its fully understandable that they poisoned people... Their help doesnt know the menu... Wait...it gets worse ...I get back to the office and 2 of my tacos had tomato cores in them....so I almost needed the Heimlich Great!!!!

I was a huge Chipotle fan. I had a friend who loved them so much he had Chipotle for lunch and dinner every day for 3 years. Then all the news about food poisoning saturated the news from 7/2015 to 2/2016. So I stopped eating them from July, 2015 until now. I finally decided to try them again last week. And Im so happy! We ordered two burrito bowls and guac with chips. No food poisoning and the carnitas (my fav!) was juicy, fell-apart-under-my-fork and so flavorful! Their burrito bowl was exactly as I remembered. The guac was fresh, a beautiful lime green with a hint of lime. Their guacamole tasted better than I remembered! Protip: They still offer you complimentary lemons, but they are placed in the fridge behind the counter. So instead of self serve, just ask the staff for lemons. The staff was polite, quick and efficient. I went on a weekend and waited about 10 minutes. Seating was clean and well lit. Thank you for fixing your food safety issues! I will be back!

Chipotles seem to be spreading like wild fire and heres one of the newest ones, now in Forest Hills. Everything youve come to expect and not expect at this franchise can be found inside, or not found inside as it may be. The line moves faster than most other Chipotles Ive been to and the portions seem to be slightly bigger than their Manhattan counterparts. The only downside is that most of the crowd you will find here are after school kids hanging out with their friends. Good luck finding a place to sit. One weird thing I saw on the menu is margaritas. I didnt know Chipotle sold alcohol but since we werent eating in, we could not order it. if youre in the area and want some good Mexican food, then this isnt the place to go. You should be considering 5 Burro down the street. If you want something quick and not a burger, then consider this.

We came in on a Saturday evening and they were having some issues with supply. It is staffed mostly by younger people (we were being helped by an Asian woman, looked late teens or early 20s) but all were very accommodating, including the people in the kitchen. They called to the back and tried to get things done for us quickly. You can see that they really took pride in wanting to do great for their customers, which is a rarity considering the work and pay it takes to service places like these. The location is very clean, air conditioning is great and the food is too if you like their stuff (I love the veggies.) I thought Id leave a nice review since staff is usually most unappreciated and they really were excellent. Thanks again people.

This is my neighborhood Chipotle. Everything is pretty standard - what youd expect at any Chipotle establishment, which is good. The one thing that is a bit annoying is that this team is much slower than most Chipotles Ive been to. I understand that it takes a while to get into the swing of things (this particular store opened up some months ago), but I think by now, their workers should be able to get people in and out and not have a line going out the door. Honestly, its not like this is midtown Manhattan during lunch hour. Regardless, clean place and friendly service. I heart Chipotle!
