I dont even know where to begin. Food, phenomenal. Service, unmatched! I stumbled upon Quenas while traveling for business. I was looking for something different than my usual fare but did not expect to be blown away. Blown away I was! The atmosphere is very cozy but feels personal, and not cramped. We served from start to finish by just one exception server, seating and all. From his pleasant and helpful suggestions to his promptness of service were all impeccable. He had a way of disappearing in plain sight yet remained ever vigilant to enhance your dining experience. I would take a sip of water and he would put one back in the glass. I was moving from one course to the next and he was there to offer options and a container for to-go. All the while he never seemed intruding or overbearing. Moving onto the food itself, delicious. The menu was full of authentic and interesting options but I did land on a special. A trout dish, whole served, with anticuchos(beef heart) up front. All of the food was cooked to perfection and plated well. The wine list was certainly adequate for pairing and left nothing to be desired. I would certainly take a date here but could also be nice for a casual meal or business dinner.

I really do love this place. We waited months before giving it a shot and we were so blown away. It looks so underwhelming from the street, we didnt realize that the only 6 tables seen from the street is not the entirety of dining space. There is an outdoor patio that has plenty more seats. Its great for a nice weather day to sit out back. They have such unique food that is really Peruvian, they use peppers and spices as well as fruit and veg that is native to Peru. Everything I tried was a symphony of flavor on my palette and the service was really great. The sangria is good as well! The desserts, specifically their donuts and ice cream that is again all using Peruvian ingredients was just mind numbingly good. Been here twice so far and will be back again for sure. Give this place a try if you want something different then sushi or pub food in Harrison. UPDATE: Weve been back numerous times. Im yet to have anything I dont like. The sangria gets better and better every time I go. Last visit we had the two specials, a fried pork dish and a mixed seafood plate. Both were amazing! Its not a surprise that the NY Times wrote them up as "Very Good"...

First-rate service, charming atmosphere and wonderfully flavored dishes has pushed Quenas to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in the Westchester Co. area. I spent a lovely time on their outdoor patio enjoying Shirleys attention, banana nut kuka beer, and some delicious Peruvian cuisine. We started with crusty, beefy empanadas, which were a treat. The Aji De Gallina was outstanding - in my opinion, just the right balance of flavors, with the chicken cooked to perfection. My dinner date had the Peruvian Paella, and I know she loved it because she only shared one bite with me. We finished it off with picarones with lucuma, which came served on a plate with honey, and a little rose made from cake icing. I hope that Quenas does well in the future. Frankly, Im happy to spend my hard earned cash patronizing local - and locally owned - small restaurants like this, with this quality of food and service. I had a wonderful dinner experience here, and the residents of Harrison should be thrilled to have such a charming restaurant run by such nice people in their neighborhood.

Most restaurants peak in their opening week and then get better, not Quenas. While I often have trouble pronouncing the name, I dont have any trouble saying that theyve been the only restaurant Ive ever experienced that has gotten significantly better throughout the time that theyve been in business. Their plating is excellent, the taste is magnificent, and the staff is responsive. I highly recommend trying their food and their Picarones y Churros con Helado de Lucuma desert. Its easily my favorite desert in Westchester.

Dont come here, Dont waste your money. Nothing tastes like Peruvian food. Bad Limo Saltado and Ceviche. No even the typical drinks are made from scratch, they used flavored powder. The sauces very small they dont give you enough. I asked for huancaina sauce, pretty small and $5. They will give you 3 times as much in any other place for half of the price. Service people need more charisma and professionalism. Next time I will just go to Aquario or Panka restaurants in Port Chester if I want Peruvian good!!

Worst peruvian restaurant I ever Been, the server Not pleasant ,slow Service, they gave us small amount of huancaina sauce,3 pieces of napkin for 2 people, the chicha is made from artificial powder and its Not made from the real Black corn.. Lomo Saltado the worst, the fries are pre cooked French fries. PRICEY AS IF IT IS A GOOD PLACE. Food doesnt taste like Real Peruvian food from the Capital .... I a.m not coming back ever again !!

This is my favorite restaurant in Harrison. The jaela is to die for! But my favorite dish is the Mariscos fra diablo. Enjoy this with some Sangria. You should also get dessert while youre here---the picarones or the lucuma, traditional Peruvian ice cream with churros! The prices are affordable and it is an excellent date spot. Ive been here 4 times and I plan on visiting regularly. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Quenas!

There is nothing Peruvian about this place. The menu items might have fancy sounding names, but they can be found at any other restaurant regardless if its Italian or Chinese. After moving to the neighborhood and thinking why not, it gave us a bad taste in our mount. The food is bland at best. Overpriced and uninspired at worst. Don’t waste your time, and more importantly your money here.

What kind of restaurant is this one? I want an order of lomo saltado without soy sauce because Im alergic to it. And, the lady at the phone told me that is not possible. The lomo saltado comes with soy sauce they cant omit it. Come on! Im Peruvian and I know that is not true. The worse service ever, not only they refused to take my order, also the woman at the phone was rude.

The 2 stars is for the service that was ok, as for the food, its made for Instagram purposes mostly because they look pretty but once tasted...you dont get why the price. I dont mind overpriced food and tiny portions if it tastes great but this wasnt the case. The food was BLAND, chicken was overcooked...not worth it.

Great Place I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious. While small in size it is large in choices. From appetizer through dessert you will be quite satisfied. Reservations are a must on weekends for sure. presentation of food is a piece of artwork for sure ☺

Awesome food and attention. Food is very delicious and meticulously made. Every dish Ive tried has been excellent. I love their papa rellena, lomo saltado, tamal, picarones, pisco sour, chicha, and a lot more. I recommend this place to all my friends. Shirley will take very good care of you.

Substandard foodstuffs choices and high prices. The service is good and attentive: thats it. They need to hire a chef and kitchen staff. Fix the AC, its summer and the place was sweltering hot inside. The steak was rubbery and the ceviche stale. The food is simply bland.
