My family and I celebrated Thanksgiving this year not at home, but as guests at a restaurant that feels as authentic as home. Mughal Palace in Valhalla, NY became our clear choice of restaurant, having become its frequent customers since we discovered this gem of an Indian restaurant six months ago. Our group of six had the most enjoyable and memorable Thanksgiving gathering! We were so glad to skip the turkey and its equally ordinary side dishes. We opted for an extraordinary dining experience with an overflowing buffet of fine Indian cuisine delicacies. We loved the Navaratan Korma, Avial, Vegetable Biryani, Lamb Muglai, Murgh Tandoori, Peshwari Nan, and nearly two dozen other supremely prepared entrees, soups, salads, appetizers, and desserts! We complimented Mughal Palaces chef on his five-star cuisine! The richest, all-you-can-eat buffet at Mughal Palace is likely the best-kept secret in all of Westchester County and our region. Alam, the friendly owner of Mughal Palace, and our kind server, Russell, greeted us with genuine warmth and offered us personalized, excellent service. The restaurants authentic, inviting decor effortlessly transported us to India. My family and I enjoyed a most delightful Thanksgiving celebration and memorable dining experience at Mughal Palace. We eagerly look forwarding to returning! Having dined at many other Indian restaurants in Westchester, Fairfield, and NYC over the years, we unconditionally rate Mughal Palace as the best Indian restaurant we have experienced to date.

The food and service were good but we were misled by their "save on Indian cuisine" coupons on their website that stated $20 off for orders of $100 or more (Our party of 5 spent much more and left a 20% tip) which I presented to the waiter who then gave it to the manager who has the audacity to tell us that its valid only for weeknights and not weekends as we were there on a Sunday night. I pointed out to him that the coupon does not state any time or day whereby he went on to say it was a mistake on the website and refused to honor it. Since then they have made that change on the website but I wouldnt go back.

Excellent indian in Westchester! Their buffet is not the biggest, but the food on it is way better then buffet quality! This is THE place for buffet lunch ($3 more on weekends), but still well worth it! You can order off the menu anytime - even while the buffet is going on, and their menu items are great! The staff are very friendly and attentinve. I end up having lunch here about once a week, and I recommend it to ANYONE, even Indian-food novices!

Mughal Palace is a little gem in Valhalla, Westchester. The ambiance is very pleasant, decorated in soothing colors and actually you can carry a conversation..the place is not noisy at all.. We ordered mostly vegetarian dishes and everything was fresh, tasty and rich in pleasant aromas. At the end of the meal we were treated with a taste of a rice pudding..It was delicious! I will definitely come back!

This is so far the best Indian food Ive found in Westchester. There is nothing unique about their menu--all the usual suspects--but the food is fresh and very flavorful, seasonings are spot on. Service is very good. Buffets are plentiful and inexpensive. Good spot for birthdays. When Im seriously in the mood for good Indian food the 20 minute drive is well worth it.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. The staff is very sweet and the food is delicious. They are always willing to help me practice Hindi, and I leave very happy and VERY full. It is a great place to celebrate family occasions. The lunch buffet is incredible.

Had the lunch buffet on a weekday. The food was fresh and delicious. There was a good variety of choices for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The service was impeccable and everyone was very welcoming. Will definitely recommend it to anyone. Great value.
