The Food at North is very good and also the wait staff is well trained. The worst part of eating there was the wine steward/owner...he is over the top and arrogant re: his knowledge of wine and is not really helpful. If you really know wines his chatter sounds ridiculous. He obviously caters to his Armonk regulars who will purchase a $500 bottle of wine. Example:The wine we ordered had too much sediment and he made no suggestion to put it into a decanter. Also he is not dressed or groomed appropriate to his position...a real "turn off". The downstairs is really noisy...upstairs a nicer atmosphere. Do not know why everyone flocks there. While the food is good the atmosphere screams...people go " to see and be seen."

Service was good after we eventually got to our table. There seemed to be some confusion and lack of cohesion once we arrived. Downstairs is noisy with loud music. Upstairs is much quieter with a nice mix of music in the background. The restaurant is very pricey. The wine by the glass listed wines up to $25 per glass. Lamb chop appetizer was $19. The lamb chop app was delicious as was the salad. The whole cooked pig, while a great concept was dry. My tuna tartare was good although Im not sure brussel sprouts are the best complement to tuna. All in all it was $100 per person (2) For that kind of money a meal needs to be perfect and that wasnt the case at Restaurant North

Your Review: Everything at North is fine-fine food, fine service, fine ambience. Nothing is spectacular. Our server couldnt describe 2 appetizers when asked, they arrived much too quickly, maybe they wanted our table. The burger is good but nowhere near Colicchio and Sons or DBGBs. The fish was nothing different than i have had in establishments all over Westchester. No amuse bouche to start. Only one toilet in ladies room--ladies room FAIL. Wines by glass come in tiny carafes but no taste first, as seems to be so much common these days. Dont understand why the reservations are so tough. Meh!

Food was descent, not good, & certainly nothing to write home about. The service was borderline rude; took forever to get food & waitress never came to check on us. I also noticed the staff liked to congregate towards the back & carry on with their own conversations. I am local and was looking forward to another dinning option. Id rather go to some of the other restaurants in Armonk where the staff makes you feel welcome (even the huge Moderne has a nicer more welcoming feel). A true disappointment; it will be a long time (if ever) till I chose to give them my ca$$h again.

Had dinner there during Restaurant Week. The Cauliflower Pana Cotta was delightful, Butternut Squash Soup was extraordinary and not a cream base. Brisket and Red Fish were both a party in our mouths! Wonderful offering of gluten free breads were a pleasant surprise. Our waiter, Melvin, cared for us as though we were family. I would highly recommend Restaurant North!

Attended quite a while ago and was unimpressed with the food. Everyone in the neighborhood had raved about the food, but at the time, it was asian-inspired and was quite odd. However, I did attend an event recently and was surprised by the food. It was much better and I definitely would return to give the restaurant another try.

The food was exquisite. Among the three of us, every dish we enjoyed was pure delight. However, the noise level was unbearable. We could not hear one another speak and had to leave early out of frustration. Not one of us can imagine returning or recommending Restaurant North for a special night out.

Years ago, we decided to stop going because of disappointing experiences. Thankfully some friends took us there last night and it was outstanding! Were thrilled because we live 5-minutes away. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. Service was also excellent. Atmosphere is perfect.

I cant imagine how anyone wouldnt have a perfect evening here. Restaurant North is where we celebrate every big night. The food is the best in the area, the service is impeccable, its tastefully designed and it has an environmental and social responsibility bent as well. Go- enjoy- ✌️

The best restaurant in the area by far. Most selections are made with local ingredients, including a number of Captain Lawrence beers available on tap. From Appetizer to dessert, you are in for a memorable experience when you dine here.

excellent food. needs more variety in the menu. way too noisy downstairs, but upstairs was finally opened. if you want to hear yourself think, eat upstairs. you can bring your own wine without a corkage fee!

fresh farm to table food. the menu changes seasonally. excellent wine list but you can also bring your own wine for a modest corkage fee. skillet desserts are different from the tradiitonal dessert.

What a great restaurant. Staff could not be friendlier. They comped our drinks and appetizer because they were running behind. The food was delicious, and the place had a nice buzz about it.

Took us 2 and a half hours for a simple dinner with our grandsons and they left midway through to go across the street for a slice of pizza. The restaurant is a conceit. We shall not return.
