Nothing says "secure" like a Deli On The Green jumbo styrofoam cup filled with iced-coffee, then tightly wrapped in Saran...I feel like I could punt this thing down a football field! Unless youre in/around the Great Neck peninsula anyway, Deli On The Green is a bit off the beaten path - On Middle Neck Road, North about 5 minutes from the Northern Blvd. or 10 minutes from the the L.I.E. I had the pleasure of working nearby and have yet to receive an iced coffee or sandwich anything short of amazing! Expect to pay between $7 and $10 per lunch sandwich; My staple lunch, a turkey/swiss/lettuce/tomato/onion/honey mustard/whole wheat wrap goes for about eight bucks. Sandwiches are generously filled, with just enough evenly-distributed goodness in every bite! The honey mustard they use is out of this world, but some of the other dressings they have (particularly the Thousand Island) are a pinch on the watery side. If youre in a hurry, there are pre-made grab & go paninis, sandwiches, and salads, and an assortment of rotating fruit cups and yogurt parfaits.

This place is the most unprofessional deli everrrrrr!!!! First they take two hours to deliver so i call and told them i dont want the food, so they called and told me they are at my house after i told them i dont want the food, called more then 5 x untill i had my husband answer the phone and they threatened him, then almost 4 months later i tried to order from them again and one of the guys said that he couldnt take me delivery order because the delivery guy was on a delivery already?!?!? Makes no sense!

This place is a God send on my wallet. My daughter had a daily Starbucks habit. No not the SMALL ANYTHING! More like a Vente Mocha Frappachino & a pastry "daily". That was her first stop before school & sometimes after. Her friend introduced her to Deli on the Green and I will be forever grateful. The Vanilla iced coffee is bigger than Starbucks for a cheaper price. More for less is always a winner in my book.

This deli used to be good until the new owners took over. They dont filter out their employees which is quite a shame as they prey on females only. My order was wrong twice in a row and they forget you if your a dude. Dont mind if the line is long they could careless about customer service. This place needs a major update.

Beware! Dont go to this deli - especially if youre a woman. The men behind the counter are disgusting and say inappropriate things and the owners dont say one thing back to them to change it. This deli was great - 10 years ago - with the people that they hire and the new ownership, I would never go back.

Terrible Non Existent Service. Waited 15 minutes with drinks in our hands to not be addressed at all. Staff is rude and non attentive. Need faster employees. Had to walk out and get nothing. Boyfriend was very upset as this was his favorite sandwich place when he was in college.

Wait on line for ridiculous amounts ofntime. Employees, are all pigs eyeing the women there and even prioritizing the ones they think are more attractive. This isnt even my personal experience This is me watching it hapoen. Multiple times. Go somewhere else in great neck
