from Oceanside on the south shore. Read that the pastrami at this place is good, so took a little Sunday drive. Had a nice walk around the town and some of the back streets with my spousal unit....got a little bit of an appetite on and swung into the deli to whet it. Got a pastrami on rye with mustard and a few pickles. Incredible!! The pastrami is like none Ive ever eaten. Very lean, melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. It wasnt cheap, but worth every cent. Sat in my car and just inhaled it. Amazing. While on Cross Island headed home was debating turning around and going back for another. Strongly recommend it, especially because the place is really old school and completely without pretense. Dont find many eateries like this any more and thats a damn shame. Try it!!

Expensive everything is a la cart. Plastic flatware no dishes real turnoff. Sandwich was ok not worth the price. Sliced pickle with the sandwich only made my sandwich soggy! Fries were ok. Doubt we we will be back.

Great Hot Dogs. I never actually eat sitting down, but there is something soothing about getting a Hot Dog and a Knish or Potato Pancake from there and eating it on the go.

Going since early 70s. Love it. Paul and Phil have been my go to deli guys for over four decades! Everything is great. Cornbeef. Brisket and Pastrami are even better.
