First of all, the waitress did not know what the word vegetarian means. The waitress recommend Dish 1 as the "best vegetarian dish" and my mother ordered this. But she got a chicken quesadilla, and the waitress forgot to give her rice on the side. I ordered rice and chicken with cheese on the side, but instead she gave me rice and shrimp. I told her this, and she said sorry and exchanged this with rice and chicken but drenched it in cheese. I then asked for her to get me a new plate without cheese and she said I had to pay for this new plate. She also forgot to get me a coke refill even after I asked her twice. The service here is horrible I would not recommend. Also the cheese is gross

We visited last night for the Geneseo Odyssey of the Mind fundraiser. We waited just a few minutes for a table and chips were brought quickly, followed by drinks. The food was a bit slow to come out, but the service was very friendly. The food was quite good, even for my picky husband, who ordered a steak, and my toddler, who enjoyed a cheese quesadilla. Ive never been to Mexico, so I cant comment on the foods authenticity, but it was certainly yummy. The menu is huge, and I cant wait to try more. We will definitely be returning!

Ive had plenty of authentic homemade mexican in my life however was never able to find anything remotely close to it in any restaurant that claims to be authentic. With Rancho Viejo, Ive finally found what Ive been looking for. Ive eaten there at least once a week since they opened and have referred plenty of friends, some owners of mexican restaurants themselves, and everyone agrees that this stuff is as good as it gets.

Our first visit to Rancho Viejo was an excellent choice. The food was delicious. The service was excellent, very prompt , courteous and friendly. The decor and seating were comfortable. Will definitely be returning to try more menu selections, which are numerous !! Thank you for a very good meal !

The menu is an overwhelming selection of bland rearrangements of the same ingredients (romaine, tomato slices, refried beans, ground beef) that reminds me of school cafeteria food. The staff is trying, but hasnt been very well trained. Dont understand the 4.4 average star rating

So glad to have a REAL Mexican restaurant close by. The staff is friendly, and very accommodating. The food was great everything is FRESH.. Wish the place was larger, though weve never had to wait more then 5 minutes it can get pretty packed.

Just what Livingston County needed, delicious and authentic mexican!!! Worth a visit, the portions are huge and prices low. Delicious food, the fiesta chicken is a specialty that should not be missed!

So many menu selections! Carnitas, chalupas, empanadas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, chimichangas, chile rellanos, carne asadas...The flan and deep fried ice cream are delicious, too.
