Avon is a very quaint little town, Avon Inn fits the town very well. Big old mansion which appears to cater to weddings and has been to for many years as is apparent from all the pictures hanging in the lobby. We were travelling with friends so had two rooms booked both were very different. They were very clean, a little tired but clean, our room had dark blue shag carpet but a beautiful old desk and four poster bed. The bathroom could use a bit of updating but like I said it was clean. We went during their weekend special which is unbelievable and is well worth it. Dinner was very good, they have a nice salad bar and it was nice to enjoy an afternoon drink on the front porch before dinner. We skipped the included breakfast and ate in town. My one suggestion is if you can BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW. We got some extras but they are little skinny hard things. Other than that it was something different than a regular hotel room, the building it self was quaint, and with the weekend special it was certainly worth the money.

WONDERFUL PLACE! My wife and I had our wedding here last June. The service was absolutely amazing. Not only did Patti coordinate the culinary side of it, she almost became a day of coordinator by setting up over 200 candles and tons and tons of rosebuds all over the place. The food was absolutely amazing. All of our guests complimented the food here. The atmosphere was beautiful for a wedding. Many guests stayed the night in the guestrooms upstairs and had nothing but good things to say about it. Patti and the staff will treat you like royalty on your wedding day. Look no further than the Avon Inn. Guests still talk about our wedding and how beautiful it was, how good the bartender was, and most of all how good the food is. The prices are VERY reasonable for weddings as well. I recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!!

I just got married at the Avon Inn and I have to say that the Avon Inn was AMAZING. The staff took such good care of all of my guests (the ones staying at the hotel and throughout the reception). Patti made my vision come to life in ways that were better than I imagined. The food was phenomenal (everyone was complementing it). The gardens were pristine. I never write reviews of anything and I HAD to review this place. Well definitely be coming back for many anniversarys to come.

My daughters wedding was June 2013. Everything was excellent. Patty was beyond helpful. Her suggestions made things go so smoothly. The other staff was great. Very nice and accommodating.The facility was beautiful. The food was great. The choices were easy to make and delicious. Overall, the day was wonderful and the preparations were easy.

Went for Mothers Day Brunch. Lots of food that didnt rise to the level of mediocre. Was cheap at $16.95 but theres no such thing as a good price for bad food.
