I have been eating at La Baraka on a regular basis for the last 15 years and I have to say that the food and the service have been consistently superb. Not to mention that the décor is very appealing and can be suited for a business occasion as well as for a romantic lunch or dinner. Being French myself, I have been blessed with a discerning palate so it’s always with great pleasure that I recommend La Baraka to colleagues, family or friends for I know that they are going to enjoy this “little Gem” in Little Neck… So congratulations to the Chef and Owner and his lovely Wife for reasserting that French Food remains simply the best! One of the best French/Tunisian restaurants around (and that includes Manhattan). Weve been going there for years and it just improves with time. I second the recommendation of their French onion soup and would add the leek and potato soup to the list of must haves. Added bonus - very good and very reasonably priced lunch buffet.

Wow! Such tasty and interesting dishes. Super friendly staff. The decor hasnt been updated in decades, but that brings some charm to the place. The dinner menu was prix fix and an incredible deal.
