I live downtown and have walked passed this restaurant so many times. Walked in for dinner on a Thursday to try something new. It was not too busy as people were walking in to sit by the bar, it was a Thursday after 5 PM. Decided to order the Red Beet Salad, it was the best beet salad I have ever tasted and I am not the one to order a beet salad. For my main course I ordered the Grilled Hangar steak and it was so delicious! I could not put the fork down. The steak came with Potato blue cheese croquettes and sauteed spinach. I am picky about my vegetables but finished everything on the plate. They serve great portions. I wanted to thank the chef but was too shy to do so. Food was very delicious, will definitely return, sit outside and grab a glass of wine!

If you want to feel like youre stepping into a cafe in Paris this is your place. Its sophisticated, friendly and pleasant with high quality French food and drinks. Located on the corner of Stamfords downtown district it is positioned in a great location and has lots of windows for sun and people watching. They also set up outside seating as the weather gets warmer. With Charming French waiter and owner as well as a legit French trained chef you wont be disappointed. Great brunch! Great French onion soup! Great service.

Wow, what a great addition to the Stamford restaurant scene on Bedford Street. Its like a step back in time & a pleasure to finally enjoy dining where all menu items use freshly prepared seasonal ingredients. Chef Erik is passionately knowledgeable about his craft which exudes in the creativity of the menu design coupled with the wine selections. I look forward to enjoying my weekly culinary indulgence at Chez Vous for years to come courtesy of Chef Eriks hospitable ambiance & fresh menu creations.

This place is awesome. Not only the food is really good, but the service is incredibly helpful and friendly. I went with my wife and 18-month-old son to have brunch on a Sunday morning, and ordered a Croque Madame that was delicious. Even the Chef came to our table and offered my son a pancake. "Its on me", he said. My little one loved it! Cant thank him and all the staff enough for a great experience. We will definitely come back.

We held my nieces bridal shower brunch at Chez Vous last Saturday. What a wonderful afternoon we had - the food, staff and service were excellent, definitely exceed my expectations! Thanks again to Chef Erik, Alan and Frank for your attention to detail and the warm friendly atmosphere...everyone raved about delicious food and the lovely restaurant. Definitely try Chez Vous for brunch, lunch or dinner, youll love it!

Went back for second time in a few months and even better than the first. Mentioned to owners wife back then I wished they had Coq au Vin on the menu...and last night Viola! And it was fantastic. Super friendly people and service..already a favorite in my book and so unlike the other incredibly noisy in places in Stamford. Bring a date...serious bonus points will be earned.

My first experience here was a solid four. Had escargot as an appetizer and delicous lamb chops for my entree. The menu was a tad confusing as they had two out and the item I originally picked out was unavailable. I wish the server was more attentive and more accommodating towards new clients. Would like to come back if they worked on being more organized.

Best authentic French food in CT. Chef Eric is an amazing chef, make sure you ask him to visit your table. Had house cured meats, pate, best osobucco I ever had. Free parking in lot next door. Julianna was a great friendly bartender and Frank was the most knowledgeable and hospitable waiter. Felt very welcome its definitely worth the visit to Stamford.

Always have a wonderful meal at Chez Vous Bistro! The Pate is a lovers delight and the Froie Gras is totally delectable! Love the lamb entree, the flanked steak is also excellent. I love everything Ive ordered there. The owner and staff are very welcoming, as the Chef. They always make their guests feel at home and very welcome!

Best French restaurant in CT and beyond. If you go there first time, you have to have French onion soup! The Ratatouille is amazing. Any item on the menu will be wonderful. Ask Frank to suggest a wine. He always suggests a great wine. Id say, Chez Vous is the BEST restaurant in Stamford and CT overall.

Pros: Great, attentive service. Well polished and collaborate. Creme Brulee Surprise was very good (highly recommended). Beet Carpaggio was also really good. Great value. Cute atmosphere. Attentive owner and exec chef. Neighborhood gem. Cons: the meat dishes were a touch salty (for my taste).

This is a smaller place but it was packed inside and once i sat down to eat i could see why. The food was very good. I had the Crispy Duck over red cabbage and bacon. Service was quite good and i could recommend this place to anyone looking to eat at a proper bistro.
