I had the Quesadilla w/marinated Chicken, and it was excellent! Just the right amount of cheese, delicious flavoring on the chicken. It comes with generous dollops of Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo and Guacamole. I do have two complaints: 1) They dont seem to have iced drinks. There are bottles and cans of various sodas in a refrigerator, and a Horchata or Jamaica drink option, not sure if those come with ice. 2) We also got "Queso and Chips", its a side option— but Im almost 100% sure its that store-bought Tostitos brand of white queso, because I have the exact same stuff at home. I love the thick goat cheese queso you find at most Mexican restaurants in the south, so I was really disappointed with the queso at Los Amigos. All in all, I definitely plan on going back and trying a few other menu options, and I would like to try the Jamaica drink.

I have never written a review before but thought that I needed to inform people of this cafe. I say cafe because it is a small dinning area with very minimal sitting room. This is not a restaurant, there are no waitress so I least I dont have to tip for what they call service which consisted of multiple food items being cooked incorrectly or by given the the wrong meal. The price is extremely overpriced for the amount of food you receive. Speaking of the food it is by far extremely tasteless and spicy. Spicy to the extent they tried to cover up the fact that there is no real cooking being done. Im giving 1 stars based solely on the reason that they have a delivery service to on post which on drunken nights may come in handy.

Being from Texas, I think my opinion of Tex-Mex is fairly good. The food was delicious (Steak Fajitas) but a little bit salty. Meat and roasted veggies came in good proportions, the rice and extras (tomato, lettuce) was only acceptable for like half the portion. After the meal I was getting a to-go box and requested 3 more tortillas, some shredded cheese and rice. This cost almost half of what the meal itself was (meal was $12.25, extras to go were $5). That seemed a bit ludicrous to me but it was either that or waste what was left. All said and done, happy with the initial price and taste, disappointed with the follow-on pricing.

my husband and I come from a large combination of Mexican family members, and love Mexican food. although there meet is not the skirt stake we are accustomed to, the flavor of it was authentic, remember this is not Taco bell so please dont expect some dollar burrito. they actually cooked and marinated the meats. we had the tacos and the torta de carne asada. My only hope for them is that they could network to find a better meat. the salsa verde was very tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes tex-mex, or just Mexican food. please bring on the breakfast menu!!!

Ive ALWAYS had them bring both my panda wok and los amigos orders at the same time because they are owned by the same people. Never had a problem until today. I always do a bigger tip on the higher cost order using the app. Again, Ive NEVER had a problem until today. Well the orders came separate, and the panda wok driver refused to leave without a cash tip. He harassed my 12 year old brother and my mother when I was in the bathroom all because you guys couldnt read the same simple directions I always give. Youve officially lost customers after today if this doesnt get fixed.

This is more of a Tex-Mex style bistro or cafe than a typical Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is casual but with character, the building is clean and comfortable, and the food feels more home made. The menu is MUCH smaller as well... Which is a good thing. They served our drinks in Styrofoam cups and the food came in plastic baskets which I didnt care for, but thats the only negative I could think of. Definitely recommend.

I had a really nice tasty experience at Los Amigos, Im from Mexico City and I know how Mexican food taste and Los Amigos have that flavor. prices are not to bad, the only inconvenience is that I would like to see more tables to sit down and eat on site; anyway I ending ordering my food to go which I really dont care. Ill be back.

So we are from Tucson AZ literally 45 min from the border I was really excited for some Mexican food and Im super disappointed! I ordered enchiladas in red sauce I got some plain chicken wrapped in a plain corn tortilla no sauce nothing and it was cold. Place is super over priced as well. Sucks that was my first experience

When compare to Mexican food back home (Texas), I would give a 4 star. However, for the location this place is great! My wife and I love their tacos and tortas. The only thing I have found I dont care for is the taste of the chicken in their chicken enchiladas, but their cheese enchiladas are on point.

Had a chance to drop by this place while in Watertown. Food was quite good; service was friendly. Previous reviewers may have dined at Los Amigos in the first couple weeks after the opening and had worse than normal experiences, but I think theyre on the right track. I will be back.

I rate a 3 maybe 2. Good flavor but meat was really dry, and my burrito wasnt evenly spread on the tortilla so one bite would be all lettuce then one other bite would be all beans ect. It wasnt juicy and fresh and as delicious as I hoped for especially for an $8 burrito.

So exciting to have another Mexican restaurant in Watertown, and the location being so close to Fort Drum is great for the military transplants who miss this food! Only complaint is no " white cheese" that my kids love... But the hibiscus water and decor is great!

Over priced and poor quality. Food is premade and cold. Delivery is a joke, I was next door watching a delivery driver from Los Amigos talking with someones food sitting on the floor. Very poor quality food, its not even close to texmex. Would not recommend.

Walk in there is 3/4 empty 2 people behind the counter no one can take my order or say welcome well be with you in a sec. F this places and the fake ass Mexican food.Their lucky that soldier will eat there cause there no other places close.

Drove by during a road trip, and was feeling kind of spicy so I thought Mexican was a good pick. Really nice atmosphere great service and good quality food. If Im ever back in the area Ill make it a point to stop in again.

Not a bad place. Its an order at the counter style restaurant and they bring your food. Canned soda with the Horchata option in a cup. They do deliver which is a plus! I didnt see beer as an option, if that matters.
