Great food and ambiance. Too bad the waitress we got was patronizing. We arrived at 845pm about an hour before closing time. As soon as we got there we couldnt get the waitress attention but the bus boy quickly seated us and set us up. She finally comes over, there are only 2 of us (mind you there are only 3 other tables seated) and we order. She forgets our drinks and we kindly remind her no big deal. Food arrives; pasta is perfectly Al dente and delicious. We finish up and ask for dessert and another beverage and she states she cant serve us anything else because its 10pm and theyre officially closed; all the while a family of 6 had just arrived and had ordered in the last 10 minutes. Taken aback and honestly not wanting to cause a argument we say okay pay and properly tip and go on our way. As I left I just felt like my meal was ruined. Not being able to fully enjoy my meal, enjoy some dessert (and man did that zeppole sounds good) was truly disheartening. I would have loved to come back again, too bad she was the only waitress and a condescending one.

We were super excited to try it. The experience starts with parking. Difficult to get a spot. Went for brunch and although it was empty the waitress took long to take the orders. We noticed she didnt have any patience at all. A waiter came with 2 slices of cheese pizza saying it was "from the house". But they charged us 3.5 at the end. We had a one bite and didnt finish since the slices were not good. Just dough. We waited for the entrees. Meatballs were raw and quinoa salad had a burnt kale. To finish out lunch for good the waitress asked us 2 times if we were done and ready. Ready for what? To pay her the tip if she had to go? Of course. By the 3rd time she ask3d we were done. We paid it and never going back again. Horrible experience.

Im Italian and have been cooking and also eating pasta all of my life.. I really dont think Ive ever had a bad plate of pasta in my life....well, when I was in the military the cooks did try their best, but I still ate it anyway!.. Yes, I certainly recommend Polpettina to anyone!.. the only problem I could say I have is that a plate of pasta there costs about $14.00!.. But, most italian restaurants are charging about the same amount now days! So, just GO, and you just might love it as I did!..

Made it at 2:20 on Sunday. Had no idea they close at 3pm. The waiter dissuaded us not to stay. Said that the wait was going to be too long and we wouldnt be served if we didnt get to sit before 3pm. I asked if we could sit on some stools that were empty and she said we could not be served food there. She then directed her attention to the couple behind us and sat then on they same stools I asked her to sit us. Very rude. What a horrible experience

Really enjoyed the few times Ive been here. Love the thin crust Neapolitan pizza and some of the pasta dishes are VERY good. (Try the bolognese!). Love the attention to use some local ingredients, especially some local brews from Captain Lawrence! It was a bit noisy at times which wasnt a huge annoyance, but it was noticeable. Overall it was a good place that I would definitely go back to again and again.

One of few decent pizza places in the area (a distant second would be Burrata). A little pricey, and usually has a wait to get a table. The service is ok, not great, but the pizza makes up for it: fresh ingredients and excellent thin-crust pizza. Stick with the simple pizzas - some of the signature pizzas (goat cheese and figs) are way too oily and rich, or so my cardiologist tells me...

This place is just starting out and I must say that my food experience was great! My family and I look for the best pizza in the area and Polpettina made a great pie. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue was that we had to wait for a while to be seated (about 1 hour on a Friday night). They are trying to expand; I hope that works out for them!

Was just told about this little hideout. Must have the meat-balls. Every kind is Great. Nice wine selection. Busy on the weekends. Had to wait twenty to get a seat which I do not enjoy. Found it worth the wait thogh by far. Pasta was cooked perfect and the gravy was a nice balance of flavors that worked well together. Will be heading here again soon.

This is my favorite gourmnet pizza spot! Everything is delicious and different. The honey eggplant chips are super addictive. The caciocavallo pizza is perfect except for the difficulty I have pronouncing it to the waitress.

If you go during peak hours, youre going to have to wait a while as they dont take reservations and the space is small, however, well worth it as they have excellent food no matter what you order!

The food here is fantastic, but not inexpensive. The restaurant is not very big so we often have to wait for a table. For that reason, we frequently get take-out.

The food is great, I always get pasta. Good local beer selection. If I have any complaint it would just be the size of the place..

Meatballs are good, really like the beef ones best. The grandma pie is my absolute favorite, and the farmhouse salad with popcorn.

The meatballs are delicious but pizza was mediocre and ceasar salad was over-dressed. Overrated place in my opinion.

Excellent service and trendy ( not traditional Italian) pizza & kale salad. A bit noisy & close quarters for us.
