UPDATE: I got in touch with the owner of Villaggios - Joe - through Valpak. Joe profusely apologized and told me this was an atypical experience and he would call a meeting with his entire kitchen staff. I was very satisfied with his response and dont expect this to happen again. Issue: I called in an order for pickup at 5:05PM 11/18 - four entrees - eggplant parm, (2) veal parms, and a shrimp francese. I came by at 6:00PM to pick up the order, which was ready on the pizza counter. I drove home (to Bayside about 10-15 minutes away). Got home, and realized that the shrimp francese was not in our bags. Called Villaggios back. Nicole (I think?) apologized and said theyd remake the food if we came by again and picked it up. Came by again and picked it up around 6:40PM. Asked to speak to a manager to ask the reason the to-go orders arent being double checked, especially for a large order. Nicole informed me Joe (the manager) was not available until 8:30PM and she said she yelled at the kitchen staff. OK with me -- didnt want to make a scene for a minor issue. Drove home with the shrimp francese. The shrimp was cool / room temperature when I got home. I can only fathom that instead of re-making the food, the kitchen forgot to pack the order, left it on the counter somewhere, then when I came back they just repacked it for me -- hence it was basically sitting out on the counter for an hour. As much as Ive previously enjoyed Villaggios food, this was poor service.

Wow! Where to begin. My girl & I headed over at 7:30 on a Friday night and the place was crowded! We got lucky and there were a few tables left and we were promptly seated. Oh, and parking was no issue. There was 1 spot left in there lot. Now to the food. I ordered the calamari because people on Yelp raved about it and it was very good! My girl had the clams in white sauce and that was just as good. She had shrimp scampi & risotto as her entree. Loved it! I had salmon with risotto, excellent!! Their service was quick and polite. We will be going back again.

The food is very good. On the expensive side. I had the tuna tartare appetizer, which was very good. The shrimp francaise was delicious. I ate here on three different occasions. The pasta was made perfectly. The table next to us, ordered pizza. It smelled great. I am going to order it next time, as an appetizer. One of my friends ordered the chicken francaise, excellent. Very light. The sauce was very tasty. The meatballs and sausage were very tasty. The meatballs were light. Service was excellent. I would go back.

Its an American bar ran by Koreans that speak limited English. Which was surprising when we rolled thru at 10pm on a Friday night. The bartenders were polite, attentive and nice. Ordered some lychee soju, fries and Mozzarella sticks. The food tasted as if they were from a frozen pak at the grocery store. Although I suppose most bar food is. They have several NY beers on tap and a crap ton of Jameson.

LOVE Villagio! They have amazing brick oven pizza - my usual is an oven brick margarita pizza with fried chicken cutlets on top, however it is a bit pricy. Their food is to die for! They even have the chef in the front of the restaurant making the pizza right in front of you.

This is a great place for Italian food. They have a good variety and if you want pizza. Its fresh, brick oven!!! They create unique combinations and upon request. I never had one bad item from this place. They also have a little side room for parties!

I just had dinner there tonight and it was delicious! I had the Rigatoni w/ red sauce, eggplant, olives, goat cheese on top. Amazing tomato sauce!! I will be going back!
